She was a walking light
Her path resplendent
I know this phrase is used quite often
But it is true
Her presence made everything all the more merrier
With her laugh and personality
She was kind and selfless
And hid her insecurities
But not from me
I was her wall
Something established
I was to her what she was to me
We were balanced
But life’s very much deplorable
Simple clothes were gowns on her
Her beauty was breathtaking
And I saw it so often
I never breathed
But she was my air
She was a walking light
Hair radiant and fair
Smile stunning and comfortable
Made me so at ease
But she’s not here
