Miraculous Episode 12 Spoilers

I know everyone is annoyed that this is going to be our only time seeing Luka because the creator’s pattern of building up characters for weeks or months and only showing them one episode then they seemingly disappear from the universe. But let’s talk about that, specifically how did their episode end.

If you remember Lila’s episode ending with the “Marinette, we’ll never be friends.” And she was also on bad terms with Adrien. And she walked away.

Kagami: Her episode ended with her saying she respected Adrien as her rival and sparked the “So you like Mari?” Thing even tho they weren’t close. And she walked away.

So what’s the difference between our past love rivals and Luka? Luka was actually kind to everyone, understanding, didn’t get in the way, and was genuinely worried when his mom was akumatized and he was not akumatized that’s a big thing. He wasn’t, he witnessed it. The 2 I mentioned before were one time villains and there isn’t any reason for them to be akumatized again so there’s no reason for them to come back unless they decide that Lila did actually join the class.

Luka is the sibling of a main(ish) character and is similar age. And my main point. It ended with him on great terms with both of them and he didn’t walk away. It ended with him shaking hands with Adrien and Marinette and watching the loves of her life all very close. In conclusion, if the creators aren’t dicks, we’ll see our emo bi boy again

Miraculous Ladybug Brother AU

So i’ve noticed and Ivan and Kim’s hair are fairly similar

and it was a car ride home where i thought “Are they related? I dont think they are… WHAT IF they were?”

So, the rest of the ride i made this very depressing AU…

In this AU, Kim and Ivan are brothers, Kim being the older one. Their personalities and their behaviors toward each other aren’t very different from on the show.

Kim still messes with Ivan and Ivan still gets reassurance from others.

Kim is dating Alix in this AU while Ivan still has yet to confess to Mylene…

So what goes on is Kim underestimates how much his bullying (not as bad as bullying, but more than picking on…) is affecting Ivan mentally and emotionally, and every time someone keeps coming up to him to try and make him feel better, it never truly works.

One day, Marinette finds him crying in a corner where the lockers are and is all like “Hey, i dont understand-You need to stand up for your self. even if you are the younger sibling, you are just as tall as him- and for a mater of fact, much thicker than he might ever be. Confront him and fix this, Ivan. I believe in you.”

now, Ivan completely understands what Marinette’s trying to say and goes to confront him.

but Kim keeps on messing with him

and Ivan keeps on getting hurt

so he “stands up” for himself and starts to hurt Kim… physically

it was a punch at first, but then it turned into a routine and even more beatings.

Sometimes, Kim won’t show up to school because he has patches of scars, and or bruises.

Alix gets worried and asks Ivan where he is.

Now, Ivan has changed. His face is kind of more… MORE upset. (i hope you understand that :-:) and it looks paranoid.

He would respond “He’s sick”

and Alix being the caring GF she is would respond “you’ve been saying that for the past month and a half. what’s really up with him?”

^^^This starting the phase where Ivan ignores and disses everyone. He keeps to himself, he doesn’t talk, eat with, or sit with anyone. He forced his table mate to move.

Now, being human, Alix does worry, but continues for a bit longer.

With the physical abuse coming from Ivan onto Kim, Kim is actually frightened of him. every time Ivan hits him, makes some sort of contact, he always talks about how this feeling is what he felt like when Kim poked fun at him.

Kim appologizes every time. he is a coward before his little brother and is now having to hide from his parents.

They are occupied with work to ever REALLY check to see if their son goes to school, even if he says he does and actually doesn’t (stays in his room, in the dark, sobbing over his aching body)

eventually, Alix decides to leave for school early one morning, but head to Kim’s house instead. Watching Ivan leave the house, along with his parents (no Kim) she goes inside (back door is always unlocked for emergencies.. which this was) and tries to find Kim.

She does.

and when she finds his thin, bruised, bleeding, scabbed body, soaked and trembling from the tears, she cries with him

and she skips school with him.

and in the time she spends with him, calls the ambulance…

So eventually Ivan is taken to a “care home” or what ever you may call them… to help him with his problems. help him find other solutions.

Kim was so badly hurt for the past 2 ½ months that it took nearly a year to heal again so he could do sports. not even do sports, get started again at the beginning because his muscles arent’ the same.

Marinette later hears about this and apologizes for about as long as Kim as hurt because she said she told him to do it, even though she didn’t literally say it, she is the one to blame.but they all forgive her after the first two minutes of whines.

^^^ So by the end of the AU, the brothers aren’t really quite brothers again, but they are working on it

Kim still goes through (any kind really) therapy, and Alix joins him because she’s his caring GF

and then the rest is up for adding if you’d like :O :)
