Red and Blue make Purple

ok, so Blue is lance’s dragon from my fic From the Ruins, We shall Rise. He’s heavily based off of Toothless from Httyd, and is ofc, blue. XD he’s a sassy thing, takes after Lance that way, and he loves to play with kids. Lance has a large family and is the oldest, so Blue grew up surround by kids. Like I’m talking like 5 younger siblings here. He’s a very friendly dragon and likes to play with Topaz (hunks dragon in this au and Kit, pidges dragon) he’s also a rare water dragon, and has a few abilities to go along with that. Overall, he’s prolly my fav. 💙

Nova, oh gosh golly. He’s ollllllddd. Literally and metaphoircally. So Nova comes from one of my very first fics that should remain lost to the internet while i work up the time and stomach to edit it profusely. But hes an old guy. hes also very very dead. Rip Nova. But that doesnt stop me from really loving big guys. He was colored kinda like the sun, that pale yellow we see durring the day. He was a very serious dragon, he always had to police his rider, which is very different from how Blue and Lance operate.He liked order and was fiercely protective of his rider and family. Like its a huge spoiler for the fic, but since it wont be updated till i go through it again, which will be in forever, i might as well just say it. Nova is the father of Feuer, who is also from the same au/fic/story thing. He kinda reminds me of an old retired war hero, stuck in his ways, but fairly laid back till you break that rules. xD

Mercury and Shion???

ahahahhaha ok so Mer, as i like to call Mercury is my first dragon oc. Like he my babbyyyy. I miss writing him, but again he came from the same fic as Nova. He’s silver, if the name didnt give it away. and hes another sassy dragon with the biggest protection streak i have given to date. Well, maybe Shion takes the cake, but theyre close. he’s not as canonically old as Nova, but hes roughly 15yrs. (nova was running nearly 50 before he died) and Mer and his rider have weather rowers in the fic and its just like wow, a flight is never hard for them.

Shion is Shiros dragon from the same au as Blue! Shes a dark purple dragon with lilac eyes and shes a mother at heart, despite not having her own mate or hatchlings. And she is crazy protective of shiro. Like is willing to end lives protective. Not that shiro is defensless, but he is human and shesa 20m long dragons with hard scales, huge claws and teeth. and fire. shes not shy about fire. It will be interesting how she will develop in this au, cuz i dont want to gve anything away. but she has a lot of room to grow still. ^^

Valdas and Lilli???

Valdas comes from my last Fairy Tail au that i was writing just as i got into voltron. In her world, there are two classes of dragons, normal and Royal. Valdas is a Royal dragon and is pretty badass. Shes a black dragon with red iridescent scales and red eyes. shes not quite as protective as the others I have, but she is quick to anger, but normally her rider keeps her in check. She’s roughly 15m long and about 3 stories tall. Shes not afraid to go toe to toe with larger dragons or to flatten anything in her path once she had a goal. I wouldn’t call her reckless per se, but she does have a bit of a rebellious streak. (she gets it from her rider)

Lilli… ah well, Lilli has a sad story. She comes from the same fic as Nova and Mer. She was artificially hatched and forced to bond with her rider. and because she was artificially hatched, she lost most of her coloring, the stress of the ordeal turning her nearly white. She does have some purple hints to her, but theyre very light. She and her rider are a team, but Lilli is well aware of her status as a tool. Once a bond is formed, it cannot be broken so she is bound to a rider who doesn’t always have her best interests in mind. So she is very stoic, and keeps her feelings locked away and hidden. She can’t help but love her rider, who is also just being used as much as Lilli is. Their story never progressed much farther than that (because thats when i stopped writing it orz)

General Notes: This is really funny and quirky. Lance is adorable in all his dorky glory. The whole team is there and i cant count the times ive had to stifle laughter reading it because it was 3am and i really needed to sleep but, hey what are you going to do xD theres also a blog @voltron-cafe and the art is just as quirky as the fic and i love it to all get out. 9/10

In fact, an eerie calmness has settled over him. Everything comes sharply into focus as he stands there, still holding Lance’s wrist, breathing in and out, waiting for a response. A post “Blade of Marmora” fix-it fic. Mostly broganes & klance bonding.

General Notes: So theres a little bit of angst in this, but it does a really good job of filling in the blanks of what could have happened between ep8 and ep9 of s2. I really liked it, has some Broganes in there and Klance bonding. 8/10

Summary: For once, Lance tries to be responsible for something. Namely, his feelings. Needless to say it doesn’t go well.

General Notes: Lance pov, honestly this boy tries so hard to keep the team dynamic the same, but it never goes well. goes with the trope that EVERYONE knows about mutual pining klance, but goes a different direction just for the hell of it. i loved it. 9/10

General Notes: holy fuck do i love this fic, cuz like, wow. Im a sucker for dragons and i loved the way the author inocrporated them into this fic and made it freaking work. A+++. Lots of action, drama-rama and Lance learns a thing or two about hs feelings along the way. 10/10

Summary: An injury sustained on the job for firefighter Keith means an extended medical leave that makes him feel useless and angry. He’s so desperate to get back to his crew at Station 5 that he’s almost willing to try anything - except yoga. Especially after Hunk calls this friend of his that owns a yoga studio and Keith gets supporting evidence for his claim that only crazy people practice yoga.Somehow, despite all of that, Hunk and Shiro manage to bully him into at least trying it. He shows up for that first class expecting to hate it. What he’s not expecting is for Hunk’s friend to be hot like the fire of a thousand suns. Or even more insane in person.Or: Keith’s life. So Hard.
