good to see you again
they think they’re being subtle
y’know, as thrilled as i am about where allurance is going… after s6, i don’t think i would object to klance in canon anymore. with the character development that’s happened to both of them, it don’t think it’s completely unthinkable anymore.
i think keith has stopped needing to cling to shiro for his own sanity/stability, and i think lance has matured enough to stop flinging petty, withering insults at him.
lance’s growing love for allura and his right-hand man position has done him good—almost as much good as spending two years with an actual mother has done keith.
idk. color theory is not viable ship proof (i’m side-eyeing you, klancers), but if canon started veering into klance now, i would probably be pretty okay with that.
Lance: You didn’t need to find me. I’m not coming back. I’m staying here on Earth.
Keith: What are you talking about?
Lance: You told me to leave the math to Pidge. I think that was wise. Pidge is good with math. All of you are good at something.
Keith: Lance please… take the helm and come on.
Lance: No.
Keith: Lance.
Shiro: Keith… you can’t force him.
Keith: But-
Shiro: Keith, you had the freedom to leave and join he blade, you cannot deny the same freedom from others.
Keith: …
Shiro: Are you sure about this Lance?
Lance: Yeah, you guys don’t need me.
Keith: WE NEED YOU!
Shiro: Keith please… This is not about who needs you, Lance. This is about what -you- need.
[Question: Will we see any sword skills from Lance?]
Jeremy: Oh yea! You’re gonna see all kinds of skills from Lance! He’s got some aces up his sleeve. He’s a man of many talents and tricks. We have some epic squad battling coming up. I mean yea, in the lions and stuff. But specifically there is some epic stuff with them on the ground, just as a squad, like all in for it. It’s really cool. I’ve seen some of the stuff in ADR recently that just looks awesome. They’re all going ham on some people, it’s cool.
They could have gone a bit more on the “bigger, cooler, more grizzled” looking Keith. Little does Lance know that Keith reached such the peak of manliness that he was able to spit out a child produced out of spite and gay thoughts.
And yes, this season did utter destroy me. Creating crapping comics about the silliness of space time is how I cope. I assure you I’m as dead as Shiro inside.
On a side note, God of War is a good game. Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk. Enjoy my silly comic.
