I’ve watched new Voltron thing and this was bothering me for a whole season.
Art Class! AU!
I’ve started writing this Art AU on AO3, and here are some sneak peaks before the first chapter!
Keith is a natural artist who has social anxiety and gets irritated by the smallest things. Junior, 16
Lance isn’t the best at drawing but his ego helps cover that up. Junior, 17
Hunk took the class to see how it’d be, and draws mostly on photoshop rather than on paper. Junior, 16
Pidge is into cool, weird doodles. Whenever told to draw or make something, she puts a spin on it. Sophomore, 15
Shiro doesn’t draw much, but knows how to mostly. He’s into crafts more than sketches. Senior, 18
Allura is a realistic drawer, and can’t for the life of her sketch a cartoon character. (Reason I didn’t put her drawing in with the others bc I don’t do realistic. Sorry) Senior, 17
Coran is the art teacher, and can practically draw and craft anything. He tries to do a little of everyone’s style in the class and likes raising hell too. Age, 23
They are all in Altea Academy (HighSchool).

After seeing this, i was drying to draw something- SOMETHING. At 1am, this is all i could muster. my first Voltron art, and i’m tired and happy!

‘Cause I wrote you a little blue and red fic that I think you might just enjoy. But I’ll let you decide that for yourselves.
Capture the flag, Lance thinks, works best in a giant space castle.
The terrain is ideal, really. There’s the sheer expanse of the castle, which means they can space the flags far apart, but it’s also floating in space so it’s kind of impossible to go too far out of bounds. Pidge rigged the coms to channel selectively to the separate teams, and Shiro didn’t want to play despite Lance’s insistence that it would be great team bonding, so the teams are even.
It’s Lance, Coran, and Pidge against Allura, Hunk, and Keith. Shiro had drawn colored beads out of a helmet to make the teams and determine the team captains. Much to Lance’s delight, he’s captain of his team, and he’s faced up against Captain Keith on the other.
Team Blue is going to demolish them.

produces like 10 memes throughout the entire event and like 70 vines, most of them starring hunk (heavy lifting) has a shitpost liveblog twitter too
talks in memes and references. they’re so well hidden that a lot of reporters don’t even notice. people think he’s deep, he’s actually just quoting some x-files episode
kisses the camera “for mama” (probably has a thenks mather tatt on his ass)
actually gets a fanbase and v mixed responses after he smooches dat keith. a lot of people think that it’s some weird stunt to get more attention so he ends up introducing keith as his significant annoyance
“if i were a dorito i’d be a cool ranch” “i think it’s about your body” “i suddenly can’t read”
