Just thought of something.
What if Adrien and Marinette had to work together in a Physics project and Adrien came over to her house.
And what if when he gets there, Marinette’s mom is talking to her dad in Chinese and is all like, “(Ask him if he wants a pastry)”
and Adrien answers in Chinese, “(Thank you, but i’m alright)” sense he can speak fluent Chinese.
Then- what if Marinette’s parents fawn over the blonde and start having a long conversation with him.
Marinette is just standing there because she’s not that good a Chinese.
AND THEN, what if Marinette’s mom comes up and is all like, “You need to marry that boy” and marinette nearly dies on the spot
and what if Adrien is a little timid around Marinette’s father because he’s so broad and tall, but her father absolutely adores Adrien.
Just an idea:
“Marinette, come down please!” Her mom calls from below. The raven-haired girl slides down from her bed and makes her way downstairs.
“Yes ma-ma?” Marinette asks. Turning around with a warm smile, Mrs. Dupain-Cheng holds a hand out to the boy at the entrance.
Adrien.
Oh crap, right. Forgot we’re working together on a physics project…
“O-oh, uh, hey, Adrien.” She waves sheepishly at him.
