AU where Miraculous users have their respective creatures’ tendencies affect their civilian life

- I know this has been used many times in fan work but I love this headcanon so much so don’t shoot

- Everything is the same as canon but:

- Adrien jumps every time he sees his own reflection as if seeing a stranger

- Flowers are not safe around Marinette because she will eat them as if it’s the most normal thing in the world

- Gabriel mainly eats liquid food because this dumb bastard forgets he has teeth which he can chew with (He slurped on grapes without realising and choked and I wish that killed him)

- Alya has a huge appreciation for meat in her diet and she gets cranky if she goes on without it for a day

- Nino becomes more introverted but when he’s with Alya, he’s very sweet

- Chloe can actually go on for a while without sleeping and her work ethic improves which gives everyone around her a heart attack cos jfc who is this girl and where did her lazy ass go?

- Adrien has pounced on pigeons by impulse as both Chat Noir and himself before releasing them with a sneeze

- Marinette gets cold very easily and during winter, she’s dead tired and freezing 24/7 that she needs at least 5 layers on before stepping outside otherwise she’ll drop and sleep (Her parents feared that she had narcolepsy)

- Both Chloe and Gabriel end up getting a sweet tooth to the point where they won’t touch their coffee unless it has at least 8 teaspoon of sugar

- Adrien loves physical contact, especially by Ladybug/Marinette and he is oblivious to personal space (Imagine him greeting Marinette with a tight hug, rubbing his cheeks against hers as if it’s the most normal thing ever, leaving her a blushing mess)

- During winter, Ladybug makes Chat Noir her personal radiator and he’s not allowed to leave her hand until patrol/the battle is over

- i.e:

“M'Lady your earrings are beeping. As much as I love cuddling, you have to let me go so that you don’t detransform in front of me.”

“No…too cold…five more minutes…”

“You don’t even have two minutes left!”

“Shhhh mon minou let me sleep…”

“No no. When we reveal our civilian identities to each other, I want it to happen in either a romantic scenario where you’re declaring your undying love for me or when I’m dying in your arms in an angsty battle. NOT when you’re a sleepy bug with no concept of time and common sense.”

- Sashimi is Adrien’s best friend and it grosses tf out of Nino

- Spiders scare Marinette shitless and Adrien is not allowed near them cos he will try and eat our wonderful eight legged buddies

- The cucumber trick always works on Adrien

- Alya refers to Nino, Marinette and Adrien as her pack

- Nino loves swimming, baths, even the rain. He doesn’t even swim tbh, he just floats in the water like he won the lottery whilst Adrien stays tf away from all that H20 nastiness

- Marinette is so energetic during spring that it’s so cute and everyone’s hearts melt cos she’s so adorable and precious and-

- Adrien is comically possessive and if he dislikes someone, he’s not afraid to show it

- Imagine Lila or Chloe trying to pull a move on him and he just drapes himself over Marinette saying: “I’m loyal to my owner.” With a shit eating grin

- Every Akuma, Lila, and a few times Chloe has been hissed at by Adrien/Chat Noir

- Marinette forgets that she can’t fly. Once as Ladybug she forgets about her yoyo and just jumps off a building expecting to fly off. She gave Chat Noir a cardiac arrest and he literally ran at Sonic speed to save the dumbass from going s p l a t

- And of course we have the purring. That’s pretty self explanatory

- Alya whimpers and can pull puppy eyes. Evil powers that are. Eviiiiiiil

- Chloe has honey in everything she eats it’s mad

- Bonus:

“Ahahah g-g-good joke Chaton! I’m not Marinette pffffft!”

“Princess. Only you smell like the Dupain Cheng Bakery and use Sakura shampoo and have lips smelling like strawberries.”

“Damn you and your heightened cat senses…”

Most Girls

Title inspired by the song my lovely twin @lnc2 shared yesterday. Ending inspired by new Doctor Who s2. Enjoy!

The lobby buzzed with chatter as movie-goers filed out of the theater, and Marinette stuck close to Adrien and Kagami stubbornly, except this time it wasn’t out of possessive jealousy. She stole nervous glances at Kagami, clenching fistfuls of her apron and biting her lip.

“I’m glad we all got to watch the movie together,” Adrien said, and Kagami and Marinette averted their gazes.

“Adrien, the press would like a few photos of you and your costar,” Nathalie interrupted.

“I’ll be right back,” Adrien sighed with an apologetic wince before following Nathalie across the lobby.

Kagami and Marinette stood in silence, Kagami facing away from her as Marinette stole occasional glances. A couple times she opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again when she couldn’t find the words. She took a deep breath and mustered her courage before turning to face her.

“Um, Kagami-”

“What do you want?” She cut her off coldly, eyes narrowed into a glare.

“I just wanted to say that I’m…sorry,” she said, shoulders curling. “I let Chloe get in my head earlier, and I got jealous of you and Adrien.”

“Don’t apologize for everything. It’s a sign of weakness,” Kagami said, crossing her arms over her chest. “Though it seems as if I underestimated you as an opponent.”

“Kagami…” Marinette paused to choose her next words carefully. “Why do we have to compete with one another? I mean, Adrien is wonderful and amazing, but have you ever stopped to consider that maybe you and I could get along?”

Kagami quirked a brow so she continued.

“I can tell you really care about Adrien, and I do too, so maybe instead of fighting and tearing each other down, we could be kinder and more respectful. After all, fighting over a boy is pointless if he doesn’t pick either of us in the end, and I don’t want to lose a potential friend over some petty feelings.”

“I don’t understand you, Marinette,” Kagami said, and Marinette’s eyebrows raised. “Adrien has been hurt by you brushing off his advances because you’re indecisive and hesitant, but you still try to chase away other girls who are after him.”

“What? Adrien? Hurt? By me?” She cupped her cheeks in horror.

“He’s tried confessing to you several times, but you keep rejecting him,” Kagami said, and Marinette tilted her head to one side.

“But Adrien has never confessed to me,” Marinette said with furrowed brows. “I wish he would, but he only thinks of me as a friend.”

“Wait, you aren’t the girl who keeps breaking his heart?”

“No…” Marinette shook her head with a frown.

“So who is?” Kagami placed her hands on her hips.

“It’s simple really.” They turned to face Chloe who stood behind them with crossed arms. “There’s another girl we don’t know about, and we need to band together to take her out.”

“No.” Marinette shook her head. “Don’t you get it? All of this fighting isn’t right. We shouldn’t hate one another over a boy.”

Kagami and Chlor averted their gazes stubbornly.

“Look, Kagami, you and I got off on the wrong foot, and part of that is my fault, but that doesn’t mean we can’t turn things around,” Marinette said, and Kagami lowered her gaze. “And, Chloe, you and I have always butt heads, but we actually worked together and sort of got along today. Think of how much we could do it we stopped fighting.”

Chloe rolled her eyes, but Kagami flicked her gaze up to meet Marinette’s contemplatively.

“So, who gets to be with Adrien?” She asked.

“Maybe you, maybe me, and maybe in some alternate reality Chloe-”

“Hey!”

“Maybe none of us. Maybe this mystery girl will change her mind,” Marinette shrugged. “In the end it’s up to Adrien to decide, and all I really care about is that he’s happy, don’t you?”

Kagami eyed her a moment before a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

“I can see why Adrien speaks so highly of you,” she said, and Marinette’s cheeks flushed.

“And I can see why he thinks you’re pretty. You look amazing tonight,” Marinette said, and Kagami’s posture relaxed. “Even you were less horrible today, Chloe.”

“Ugh, don’t drag me into this,” Chloe groaned, but Marinette caught the small grin before she masked it. “I guess if I am going to surrender Adrien to someone someday I would rather if be one of you two. But he’s totally going to fall for me.”

Kagami and Marinette rolled their eyes and chuckled.

“See? We can all get along just fine,” Marinette said. “Fighting over a boy isn’t worth it.”

“Especially not if you’ve smelled him after gym class,” Kagami said with a grunt. “He sweats so much during fencing.”

“I have noticed that…” Marinette cupped her chin.

“He smells like rotten cheese sometimes,” Kagami stuck out her tongue with a gag.

“You think that’s bad? Please, one time he ruined 3000 euros worth of my mom’s makeup giving himself a makeover when we were little,” Chloe said, and they all laughed. “He also slept with a nightlight until he was 11.”

“What’s up with his eyebrows? They move so much when he talks,” Marinette added, and they all burst into a fit of giggles, clutching their sides until the boy in question returned.

“Hey, what’s so funny?” He asked with a confused smile.

Upon seeing his expression, they erupted even louder, their chortles echoing throughout the lobby.

“What?” His eyebrows furrowed, making them laugh harder.

He had no idea what was happening, but he was just happy that they were all getting along. After all, girls should lift each other’s spirits, and he was glad to see them put their differences aside. He had a feeling that they were all going to be good friends one day, even if they wouldn’t tell him what was so funny.

This is a PSA

Stormy Weather 2 was a good episode and here’s why (Spoilers ahead):

• While there was a ton of old footage used, it serves a great purpose in showing what is internally important to each character. This is especially needed because we see most of the show following Marinette. This episode is not about the Akuma, it’s about character growth and the flashbacks show how they are learning from past mistakes, and sets the stage for a lot of important things to happen soon in the season.
• Everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that it has been confirmed that Emilie Agreste is not actually dead so I’m bringing it up: Emilie Agreste is not dead. Nathalie said that she slowly fell into an eternal sleep. This could possibly be a result of the damage to the peacock miraculous.
• Nathalie is still affected by her transformation into Mayura, this can lead to a variety of different future plot points, including her fate being similar to Emilie’s.
• Nooroo calls Gabriel out on his lack of affection toward his son. This could lead to future plot points.
• Marinette makes a real effort to get more comfortable around Adrien. This shows how she is growing as a character and really sets up for some good things to happen in future episodes.
• The DjWifi scene where they reflect on how they met and got together was so important. It shows us how Hawkmoth’s appearance has really changed the lives of each person in Paris, not just Adrien and Marinette.
• The Akuma attack was shown following regular citizens instead of the heroes. We haven’t seen an attack from this perspective before. We usually don’t think much of it, Ladybug and Chat Noir will always save the day, after all, but in this episode we see the fears of those who live average lives and it’s incredibly important.
• Adrien almost grows a brain cell and figures out that Mari likes him, almost. While it is extremely frustrating that his ultimate conclusion is that she’s just a friend who’s into fashion, it’s still important because he brings it up as a possibility and gets his mind off of Ladybug.
• In Conclusion: Stop bitching about this episode barely having any new content because it has a ton. It brings a whole new perspective into the picture and sets up for an amazing, plot and growth filled season.

Miraculous ladybug AU reveal

An AU where Adrien was never able to convince his father to go to school so he continues to be home-schooled, and his only friends are Plagg, Ladybug, and Chloe. He’s still in love with Ladybug but even though Marinette never meets Adrien she doesn’t quite fall for Chat Noir. She still sees him as a valued partner and a great friend, a best friend really. It probably could be more but she has to keep telling herself that she can’t get involved with a guy when she can’t even get to know his civilian self.

Then one day she goes to a party thrown by Chloe and meets Adrien and she decides right there and then that he can’t be trusted because he’s Chloe’s BFF and who could trust that, and she never gets to know him like she would if they shared class and got to have their umbrella moment. They keep running into each other since Chloe is a mutual person in their life and she can’t bring herself to make friends with him even after she begrudgingly sees he’s actually a nice person. 

On patrol she sees an Adrien ad and she starts to dump on it. “Look at that stupid perfect face. I can’t believe I have to look at it all over Paris.” And Chat can’t stop himself from laughing and joins in. The next week she saves Adrien from an Akuma and lectures him about staying safe and Adrien can’t let the moment pass so he says, “who needs to be safe when you have a stupid perfect face.” he winks and Marinette/Ladybug.exe stops working.

Miraculous Headcannons I Wrote at 3 AM

• Everyone in Paris doesn’t share one braincell, which means it’s a lot harder for Marinette or Adrien to transform. So they can’t just jump behind a bench or something
• Marinette’s fingers are covered in bandages from constantly pricking her fingers while sewing
• Adrien has dimples on his cheeks and they’re adorable
• Marinette and Adrien sit next to each other because she actually pays attention when the teacher calls her name
• Marinette bringing Adrien croissants because she knows he loves them
• Adrien staring at Marinette and trying to count her freckles
• Marinette doesn’t have pictures of Adrien on her walls or as her computer background (because I don’t care if he’s a model that’s just weird)
• Marinette wearing her hair differently when she’s detransformed because the pigtails are a dead giveaway
• After long nights of patrolling, Marinette and Adrien fall asleep against each other at school.
• Marinette smells like vanilla and chocolate from all the baking.
• Adrien loves sunflowers and has vases filled with them in his room, sunflower pins on his bag, and doodles them on his papers.
• Marinette literally cannot dance, she’ll end up falling and possibly breaking something
• Ladybug starts falling in love with Chat a lot faster than she anticipated and now they freaking love each other
• Marinette stands up for herself a lot more because she’s iconic and loves herself
• Adrien starts crushing on Marinette because she’s basically ladybug *cough cough* but she also has her own touches that make her so damn adorable
• Alya and Nino actually believe Marinette when she calls out Lila
• Chloé literally hates Lila with a passion and hopes she crawls back into whatever hole she came from
