My Fave Papa Garou/Weredad Moments
- Adrien insisting he’s only going to tell the truth and leave… but instead ends up staying and eats the food anyway lol
- Marinette doubting Chat will show, but seems angry (jealous?) that Chat DID indeed show up with the thought that Chat has now forgotten Ladybug for, well… her?
- Tikki and Plagg being both indirect but also as DIRECT as they are allowed to be
- The similarities that was this genius post (that tumblr won’t let me link) and Chat’s arrival
- Sabine!!!
- Chat stopping at nothing to save Marinette (while also trying to restrain Tom and talking him out of the evil)
- Marinette not giving up and showing she’s capable of saving herself
- Chat abandoning the “love of his life” mid sentence to go check if his “very good friend” Marinette is safe.
- That “Marichat” conclusion!
We got to see a lot this episode in terms of Marinette’s parents personalities, how Adrien really feels about Marinette as of right now, and the overall growth these two are undergoing. This season is gonna be a good one guys. Have faith!

chat noir starts to visit the bakery and becomes close to tom and sabine who slowly become his parental figures and he starts feel like he finally has a family.
he starts to see that his own actual father is more of a stranger to him then tom and sabine. things change adrien stops asking nathalie about his father, he stops talking about gabriel, he stops calling him and like yeah he lives in the mansion and does all his extracurricular activities but other than that he’s unofficially cut ties to gabriel.
and while gabriel is out there akumatizing people to get his wife back he doesn’t realize that he’s lost the only other family he has.
it hits him really hard when he hears adrien refers to him as just ‘gabriel’ and refers to tom as ‘dad’

So you know the rose Chat brought to Marinette in “Weredad”?
It’s pink!!
And the rose he offers to Ladybug in “Glaciator”??
It’s red!!
And I remember rose colors have different meanings so I decided to look it up and…
Red is love, pink is friendship
So if you pay attention carefully, you will see in this episode, Chat Noir tried not to fight back to Papa Garou (Weredad), instead he tried to convince Tom and got hurt badly. He knew he hurt Marinette and her father got akumatized because of that. Papa Garou almost took his Miraculous and Hawk Moth almost won.
But still, in the end, everything back to normal, and even though he was exhausted, Chat Noir used his Cataclysm to help Ladybug and then collapsed onto her shoulder.
He trusted her so much that he knew she would catch him if he fall.
That’s just… beautiful…
