I know it’s a rainbow but the placing of people has me..concerned. Especially in light of certain comments and Marvel MCU comparisons made by Hawkdaddy.
Look at the right side: two confirmed villains and Chat Noir, who has a personal connection to both (cos Nathalie is totally about to be Le Paon fight me on this) and significant enough reasons to possibly side WITH them if pushed…
On the left side, we have Ladybug and two girls who pretty much worship her, have no connection of note to the villains, and absolutely no reason to do anything but fight with her…
And then you-know-who in the middle who could, at this point, lean either way.

So I thought of a backstory if you don’t mind…
So you have the Shark-People and the Mer-folk, and these two kingdoms have been at each other’s throats for what seems like forever.
MARINETTE is the daughter of the King who rules over the Mer-folk, making her a princess.
ADRIEN is the son of the King who rules over the Shark-People, making him a prince.
The King that rules the Mer-folk suggests to the other kingdom a proposition that their royal children should be wed, and so the Shark King agrees and the two are arranged a wedding.
MARINETTE and ADRIEN both meet, get acquainted and find that they have a lot in common. But, they both have a secret… They both are sick of the royal life.
Both leaving their castles, they are met with a fish that they say are Kwamiis.
I drew their Royal looks and decided that their ‘hero’ looks would look like what you drew @micchiyume.
And so, their 'villain’ is whale-people, and they are large people that look like the others just with a bottom whale torso and significantly larger than the two kingdoms( but to be fair, the two kingdom’s tech is more advanced so they are even).
Their reveal is the day of the wedding. Before they get married the two sneak out and end up meeting in their transformed selves.
They both are like “why are you so gloomy?” And then they both say “I’m getting married today to someone I don’t think I love.” OF COURSE they are oblivious to that. Then, when they tell each other who they are marrying Adrien and MARINETTE are all like “WAT”
Yeah, so it ends up that the two didn’t have to get married to unite their kingdom’s war because they were the heroes- shark and mermaid were United bc of the heroes who help protect their kingdoms.
Hahaha- I mean, MARINETTE and Adrien do get married anyway. (Marinette’s name keeps getting auto corrected to caps lock omg)
