(got this from a k-drama titled “about time”)
- From the time Marinette Dupain-Cheng was born, she was gifted of somehing rather extraordinary — seeing other people’s time.
- Not the time of their deaths, but rather, a countdown they’ll meet their soulmate.
- As a hopeless romantic, Marinette has always dreamt of meeting her soulmate. Would he have vibrant green eyes? Blue hair? Would he be older than her by a year or is he even born yet? Is it even a he? Who knows?
- One thing for sure is that she’s never seen her Adrien’s time, her best friend, since he’s always wearing long sleeves.
- “I’m pretty sure your time’s on your wrist.”
- Adrien chuckles, “Well, wherever it is, I don’t want you to see it.”
- “Why not? I currently have 10 months, 37 minutes and 04 seconds left! This is unfair.”
- She was always fond of him, that’s for sure. She would always think that whoever his soulmate is will be so lucky.
- Marinette doesn’t know that also Adrien has the same ability as hers.
- Adrien’s hiding his time under thick garments, on his wrist. He doesn’t want her to know because he wants to surprise the girl.
- Turns out that they both share the same time.
AU where Miraculous users have their respective creatures’ tendencies affect their civilian life
- I know this has been used many times in fan work but I love this headcanon so much so don’t shoot
- Everything is the same as canon but:
- Adrien jumps every time he sees his own reflection as if seeing a stranger
- Flowers are not safe around Marinette because she will eat them as if it’s the most normal thing in the world
- Gabriel mainly eats liquid food because this dumb bastard forgets he has teeth which he can chew with (He slurped on grapes without realising and choked and I wish that killed him)
- Alya has a huge appreciation for meat in her diet and she gets cranky if she goes on without it for a day
- Nino becomes more introverted but when he’s with Alya, he’s very sweet
- Chloe can actually go on for a while without sleeping and her work ethic improves which gives everyone around her a heart attack cos jfc who is this girl and where did her lazy ass go?
- Adrien has pounced on pigeons by impulse as both Chat Noir and himself before releasing them with a sneeze
- Marinette gets cold very easily and during winter, she’s dead tired and freezing 24/7 that she needs at least 5 layers on before stepping outside otherwise she’ll drop and sleep (Her parents feared that she had narcolepsy)
- Both Chloe and Gabriel end up getting a sweet tooth to the point where they won’t touch their coffee unless it has at least 8 teaspoon of sugar
- Adrien loves physical contact, especially by Ladybug/Marinette and he is oblivious to personal space (Imagine him greeting Marinette with a tight hug, rubbing his cheeks against hers as if it’s the most normal thing ever, leaving her a blushing mess)
- During winter, Ladybug makes Chat Noir her personal radiator and he’s not allowed to leave her hand until patrol/the battle is over
- i.e:
“M'Lady your earrings are beeping. As much as I love cuddling, you have to let me go so that you don’t detransform in front of me.”
“No…too cold…five more minutes…”
“You don’t even have two minutes left!”
“Shhhh mon minou let me sleep…”
“No no. When we reveal our civilian identities to each other, I want it to happen in either a romantic scenario where you’re declaring your undying love for me or when I’m dying in your arms in an angsty battle. NOT when you’re a sleepy bug with no concept of time and common sense.”
- Sashimi is Adrien’s best friend and it grosses tf out of Nino
- Spiders scare Marinette shitless and Adrien is not allowed near them cos he will try and eat our wonderful eight legged buddies
- The cucumber trick always works on Adrien
- Alya refers to Nino, Marinette and Adrien as her pack
- Nino loves swimming, baths, even the rain. He doesn’t even swim tbh, he just floats in the water like he won the lottery whilst Adrien stays tf away from all that H20 nastiness
- Marinette is so energetic during spring that it’s so cute and everyone’s hearts melt cos she’s so adorable and precious and-
- Adrien is comically possessive and if he dislikes someone, he’s not afraid to show it
- Imagine Lila or Chloe trying to pull a move on him and he just drapes himself over Marinette saying: “I’m loyal to my owner.” With a shit eating grin
- Every Akuma, Lila, and a few times Chloe has been hissed at by Adrien/Chat Noir
- Marinette forgets that she can’t fly. Once as Ladybug she forgets about her yoyo and just jumps off a building expecting to fly off. She gave Chat Noir a cardiac arrest and he literally ran at Sonic speed to save the dumbass from going s p l a t
- And of course we have the purring. That’s pretty self explanatory
- Alya whimpers and can pull puppy eyes. Evil powers that are. Eviiiiiiil
- Chloe has honey in everything she eats it’s mad
- Bonus:

“Princess. Only you smell like the Dupain Cheng Bakery and use Sakura shampoo and have lips smelling like strawberries.”

ML fic idea: Pawsitive Reinforcement
Ladybug is getting annoyed by her partners flirty actions and reckless behavior. Yelling at him or scolding him doesn’t seem to work. Perhaps some Pawsitive reinforcement will work.
Ladybug calls Chat noir one night to talk. Chat noir obviously agrees.
Ladybug reveals a chart, much to the cats surprise.
Ladybug explaining that when he does something good, he’ll get a sticker. If he gets enough, he can trade them in for goodies. But after a trade in, he is down the amount of stickers.
10 paws get him a macaroon.
20 paws gets him a free hug.
50 paws he can get a cheek kiss
Chat noir was starting to get invested in the idea.
“What about 100? Do I get a kiss on the lips?” He asked.
“Maybe if you get a 1000.” She dismissed.
“Deal.”
“Wait I…. alright. If you can get 1000, you can get a kiss.”
Chat noir was absolutely giddy.

“I love you.”
Ladybug froze. “What did you say?”
“You heard me.”
“You… you can’t say things like that,” she said, but it sounded weak even to her own ears. She was weak.
“Why not? It’s true.”
“Chat…”
“Look.” He stepped around in front of her. When she wouldn’t look up at him, a clawed finger slipped beneath her chin and gently tilted her head back until their eyes met.
“Adrien…” she whispered, finally acknowledging the truth that had hung between them for the better part of two weeks now.
The miraculous cure had fixed all the damage Oblivio had done, but it hadn’t taken away their memories.
He closed his eyes like the sound of his name hurt, then opened them again to stare at her. “Marinette.”
It did hurt. Ladybug’s chin trembled. “We can’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because Hawkmoth -”
“Screw Hawkmoth!” Chat shouted, so loud that they both froze.
She found herself holding her breath.
“I love you,” Chat said, choked. “All of you. And I don’t care about him.”
“I care. I care that he could hurt you to get at me. That he will hurt you,” she said. “Every time you get hurt, it kills me.”
Chat was shaking his head. “No.”
“Yes. You know it’s true. We can’t be together, Chat. It’s too dangerous.”
He was quiet for a moment before stepping back. Ladybug was cold the instant his hand left her body, and she wrapped her arms around herself.
“Don’t you see?” he said quietly, at last. “We’re partners, My Lady. All of Paris knows I love you. They all know you care about me.”
She went to speak, went to correct him, but a finger laid gently over her lips silenced her.
“He already knows you’re my weakness, as I am yours,” Chat whispered to her. “I would tear this city apart to get you back. That’s been the case since the day we met. Hawkmoth knows that; he’s no fool. All we’re doing is denying ourselves a bit of happiness in the midst of all this fighting. And if you want that -”
He stopped, tears in his eyes, and drew a shuddering breath. “Then fine. I’ll understand. But don’t ask me to pretend I don’t love you, because I can’t do that.”
She stared at him, speechless. Chat took another step back, and then another, until he turned and ran towards the edge. He flung himself off heedlessly, disappearing over the edge only to fly back up seconds later, propelled by his baton.
She stood there for several minutes after he was gone, just thinking. And at last, she came to the undeniable conclusion.
“He’s right,” Ladybug said out loud, realizing the truth of it even as she spoke. What was done was done. They couldn’t change it now.
Did she really think that Hawkmoth didn’t already know how much they meant to each other? Did she really think that if they pretended they didn’t love each other, they would magically be less of a weakness for each other? Did she really think that he couldn’t use them against each other now? Hell, he already had!
She scrubbed her hands over her face to remove the tears and turned to go home. She had some thinking to do.
The next morning, Marinette got up early. She dressed, went down to the bakery, and nicked some pastries. Her maman looked at her knowingly as she left, and Marinette blushed. She was nervous, but not afraid. After thinking about it all night, and talking at length with Tikki, she’d made her choice.
Adrien was already in class when she arrived - even when she was early, she was late. Marinette walked right over to his desk and laid the box down. He looked at it, eyebrows furrowing, and then up at her.
“You were wrong,” Marinette said. “I don’t just care about you. I love you. All of you.”
His jaw dropped. Someone in the class, probably Alya, made a high-pitched squeaking sound. Marinette didn’t care. She had eyes only got her kitty.
“But you were also right,” she went on. “I was scared. I’m not anymore. Like you said, we can take on anything together.”
“Marinette.” Adrien’s eyes actually looked a little wet. He surged up and came around the desk, scooping her up into a hug so strong her feet left the floor.
“I love you,” Marinette said, hugging him back, smiling so hard her face ached, and he laughed.
“I love you too,” he said, pulling back to beam at her, and this time the high-pitched shriek was probably Lila.
Marinette didn’t care. She was too busy pulling her partner in for a kiss.
