Stormy Weather 2 was a good episode and here’s why (Spoilers ahead):

• While there was a ton of old footage used, it serves a great purpose in showing what is internally important to each character. This is especially needed because we see most of the show following Marinette. This episode is not about the Akuma, it’s about character growth and the flashbacks show how they are learning from past mistakes, and sets the stage for a lot of important things to happen soon in the season.
• Everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that it has been confirmed that Emilie Agreste is not actually dead so I’m bringing it up: Emilie Agreste is not dead. Nathalie said that she slowly fell into an eternal sleep. This could possibly be a result of the damage to the peacock miraculous.
• Nathalie is still affected by her transformation into Mayura, this can lead to a variety of different future plot points, including her fate being similar to Emilie’s.
• Nooroo calls Gabriel out on his lack of affection toward his son. This could lead to future plot points.
• Marinette makes a real effort to get more comfortable around Adrien. This shows how she is growing as a character and really sets up for some good things to happen in future episodes.
• The DjWifi scene where they reflect on how they met and got together was so important. It shows us how Hawkmoth’s appearance has really changed the lives of each person in Paris, not just Adrien and Marinette.
• The Akuma attack was shown following regular citizens instead of the heroes. We haven’t seen an attack from this perspective before. We usually don’t think much of it, Ladybug and Chat Noir will always save the day, after all, but in this episode we see the fears of those who live average lives and it’s incredibly important.
• Adrien almost grows a brain cell and figures out that Mari likes him, almost. While it is extremely frustrating that his ultimate conclusion is that she’s just a friend who’s into fashion, it’s still important because he brings it up as a possibility and gets his mind off of Ladybug.
• In Conclusion: Stop bitching about this episode barely having any new content because it has a ton. It brings a whole new perspective into the picture and sets up for an amazing, plot and growth filled season.

Miraculous ladybug AU reveal

An AU where Adrien was never able to convince his father to go to school so he continues to be home-schooled, and his only friends are Plagg, Ladybug, and Chloe. He’s still in love with Ladybug but even though Marinette never meets Adrien she doesn’t quite fall for Chat Noir. She still sees him as a valued partner and a great friend, a best friend really. It probably could be more but she has to keep telling herself that she can’t get involved with a guy when she can’t even get to know his civilian self.

Then one day she goes to a party thrown by Chloe and meets Adrien and she decides right there and then that he can’t be trusted because he’s Chloe’s BFF and who could trust that, and she never gets to know him like she would if they shared class and got to have their umbrella moment. They keep running into each other since Chloe is a mutual person in their life and she can’t bring herself to make friends with him even after she begrudgingly sees he’s actually a nice person. 

On patrol she sees an Adrien ad and she starts to dump on it. “Look at that stupid perfect face. I can’t believe I have to look at it all over Paris.” And Chat can’t stop himself from laughing and joins in. The next week she saves Adrien from an Akuma and lectures him about staying safe and Adrien can’t let the moment pass so he says, “who needs to be safe when you have a stupid perfect face.” he winks and Marinette/Ladybug.exe stops working.

THE FACT THAT ADRIEN HAS THOUGHT ABOUT WHO IS MARINETTE’S “TYPE” MAKES ME SO DAMN HAPPY

Cause this means that he has been thinking about her in a relationship way

Like “hmmmmmmmm Marinette sure is pretty… I wonder what’s her type”

So there’s a few details about Miraculous you might forgot.

1. Most of Marinette’s class knows about her crush on Adrien
   
2. Adrien, Alya, and Lila are basically the new people in the class since the rest already knew each other from previous years (stated in Reflekta)
3. So it’s reasonable why nobody suspects she’s ladybug since she just started to be more confident when she meet Alya on the first day of school, which is when Ladybug appeared.
4. So that’s why Alya doesn’t suspect (at least for now) since when she met Marinette she was really shy, and afraid.
5. Kagami thinks that Adrien has a crush on Marinette, since in Frozer when Adrien said he wasn’t gonna change its target she looked at Marinette.
6. Luka now knows about Marinette’s crush on Adrien.
7. Nathaniel developed a crush on Ladybug after evillustrator and after that probably a crush on Marc too.
8. Nathaniel and Alix are best friends
9. Marinette used to sit alone before Alya.
10. Marinette was probably so shy and reserved because of Chloe’s bullying over the years
11. Adrien does not suspect Marinette is Ladybug. He literally has no idea.
12. The reason why he doesn't consider Marinette is Ladybug is because of the way she acts (acted) around him.
13. Marinette would've had give Chat Noir a chance if Adrien wasn't in the picture.
14. Master Fu has visited Adrien’s Mansion and talked to him, so Adrien knows about the same stuff as Marinette.
15. Marinette is basically the less clueless of the characters since she found out Gabriel was Hawkmoth, even though he got out of that one.
16. Adrien at the moment has, Marinette’s Lucky Charm, a CD autograph and the Scarf from Marinette (Not counting the Santa hat since he gave it to ‘Santa’)
17. Marinette is Ladybug in and out of the suit.
18. Adrien’s mom is been ‘dissappeared’ for a year.
19. Adrien has only blushed around Ladybug
20. Alya is the reason why Marinette kept on being Ladybug but Chat Noir is the reason she continued.

My Fave Papa Garou/Weredad Moments

• Adrien insisting he’s only going to tell the truth and leave… but instead ends up staying and eats the food anyway lol

• Marinette doubting Chat will show, but seems angry (jealous?) that Chat DID indeed show up with the thought that Chat has now forgotten Ladybug for, well… her?

• Tikki and Plagg being both indirect but also as DIRECT as they are allowed to be

• The similarities that was this genius post (that tumblr won’t let me link) and Chat’s arrival

• Sabine!!!

• Chat stopping at nothing to save Marinette (while also trying to restrain Tom and talking him out of the evil)

• Marinette not giving up and showing she’s capable of saving herself

• Chat abandoning the “love of his life” mid sentence to go check if his “very good friend” Marinette is safe.

• That “Marichat” conclusion!

We got to see a lot this episode in terms of Marinette’s parents personalities, how Adrien really feels about Marinette as of right now, and the overall growth these two are undergoing. This season is gonna be a good one guys. Have faith!
