Adrien is talking with Marinette in the gymnasium.

A basketball comes flying at them, Adrien takes a ball right to the face that knocks him back making him bang his head against the wall.

Marinette is taking the dazed teen to the nurse.

While being taken there, he sees Marinette as ladybug, like it flashes to Marinette looking like ladybug randomly.

After getting him to the nurse, Adrien is lying on the examination table and he keeps thinking about how he saw Marinette as Ladybug.

But there is no way that she … Wait….

Adrien realizing it’s very possible for Marinette to be ladybug. And now he can’t unsee the possibility.

Marinette comes back to check on him, he is still a bit dazed.

“Are you alright Adrien? I am sorry you got hurt protecting me…” she keeps going on until it gets a bit of rambling mess.

“I’m fine Ladybug.” He says with a smile. But then gets embarassed cause he totally meant Marinette.

“Oh shoot I am so sorry I…” Adrien was about to correct himself.

Marinette is as red as her hero costume and mentally screaming.

A Miraculous Ladybug Reveal Fanfiction

Summary: After the events of Oblivio, something about Chat Noir and Ladybug’s kiss forged a bond that draws them together, despite their memory loss. Meanwhile, the universe seems insistent that Marinette and Adrien reunite, but this has some drawbacks. Namely, they can’t seem to stop holding hands.

At school the day after Oblivio, Adrien is cramming books into his locker when it happens.  There’s a tingle against his right palm, like wind passing across his skin.  Bewildered, he looks around, wondering if maybe it’s a draft from one of the windows, but none of them are open.  Nobody else seems to have had the curious sensation, because the hallway is bustling with students going about their normal routines.  It’s a normal Wednesday for everyone else.  But yesterday wasn’t normal for Adrien.

Yesterday, he kissed Ladybug, and can’t for the life of him figure out how it happened.

He does one more glance around, and the tingling intensifies into a distinct warmth.  As if someone is holding his hand.  He nearly drops his book bag and glances over his shoulder again, wondering if this is some kind of medical emergency.  Is this a symptom for something?  Maybe he should have paid more attention in anatomy.

Then he notices Marinette.  She has her locker door open, so he can’t see her face, but she is opening and closing her left hand, as if she’s having the same problem.  Adrien finishes unloading his books, grabs his math notes, and wanders over to her.  She closes her locker door at that very moment, and suddenly they’re face to face.  Her eyes widen and she jumps back, arms flailing.  A few students around them duck to avoid getting hit.

“Agh! You scared me!  How long have you been standing there?”

He can’t help but smile.  “Sorry!  Not long, I literally just walked up.”

“Oh.  Hi?”

“Hi.”  He’s never really noticed before, but Marinette’s eyes are really, really blue.  Like the ocean.  Peaceful, deep, mysterious.  A riptide, pulling him in.

“D-Did you…need something?”

He blinks, startled.  “Oh right.”  Now that he thinks about it, it feels weird to ask if something’s wrong with her hand.  “Uh, never mind.”

They stare at each other awkwardly for a moment, before Adrien’s hand moves of its own volition.  It seems Marinette’s does the same thing, because the hands meet mid-distance between them and interlock fingers.  They both stare in horror; they’re holding hands.

Never mind how right it feels to be connected to her (which…why is Adrien even thinking that?), this should not be happening.  What is going on?

Adrien wrestles his hand away, which is harder than he expected.  It’s like pulling two strong magnets apart.  He feels strangely disappointed when he’s finally able to get free, though this thought is quickly surpassed by the fact that he is completely mortified.  “I…I am so sorry.  I have no idea what just happened.”

“Me either,” Marinette says faintly.  “We should…um…go to class.”

“Yeah.”

They part eagerly, and Adrien doesn’t have to look in the reflection of the glass door to his classroom to know his face is beet red.  And the worst thing?  The curious sensation of someone holding his hand is still there.  And it’s getting worse.

AU where Miraculous users have their respective creatures’ tendencies affect their civilian life

- I know this has been used many times in fan work but I love this headcanon so much so don’t shoot

- Everything is the same as canon but:

- Adrien jumps every time he sees his own reflection as if seeing a stranger

- Flowers are not safe around Marinette because she will eat them as if it’s the most normal thing in the world

- Gabriel mainly eats liquid food because this dumb bastard forgets he has teeth which he can chew with (He slurped on grapes without realising and choked and I wish that killed him)

- Alya has a huge appreciation for meat in her diet and she gets cranky if she goes on without it for a day

- Nino becomes more introverted but when he’s with Alya, he’s very sweet

- Chloe can actually go on for a while without sleeping and her work ethic improves which gives everyone around her a heart attack cos jfc who is this girl and where did her lazy ass go?

- Adrien has pounced on pigeons by impulse as both Chat Noir and himself before releasing them with a sneeze

- Marinette gets cold very easily and during winter, she’s dead tired and freezing 24/7 that she needs at least 5 layers on before stepping outside otherwise she’ll drop and sleep (Her parents feared that she had narcolepsy)

- Both Chloe and Gabriel end up getting a sweet tooth to the point where they won’t touch their coffee unless it has at least 8 teaspoon of sugar

- Adrien loves physical contact, especially by Ladybug/Marinette and he is oblivious to personal space (Imagine him greeting Marinette with a tight hug, rubbing his cheeks against hers as if it’s the most normal thing ever, leaving her a blushing mess)

- During winter, Ladybug makes Chat Noir her personal radiator and he’s not allowed to leave her hand until patrol/the battle is over

- i.e:

“M'Lady your earrings are beeping. As much as I love cuddling, you have to let me go so that you don’t detransform in front of me.”

“No…too cold…five more minutes…”

“You don’t even have two minutes left!”

“Shhhh mon minou let me sleep…”

“No no. When we reveal our civilian identities to each other, I want it to happen in either a romantic scenario where you’re declaring your undying love for me or when I’m dying in your arms in an angsty battle. NOT when you’re a sleepy bug with no concept of time and common sense.”

- Sashimi is Adrien’s best friend and it grosses tf out of Nino

- Spiders scare Marinette shitless and Adrien is not allowed near them cos he will try and eat our wonderful eight legged buddies

- The cucumber trick always works on Adrien

- Alya refers to Nino, Marinette and Adrien as her pack

- Nino loves swimming, baths, even the rain. He doesn’t even swim tbh, he just floats in the water like he won the lottery whilst Adrien stays tf away from all that H20 nastiness

- Marinette is so energetic during spring that it’s so cute and everyone’s hearts melt cos she’s so adorable and precious and-

- Adrien is comically possessive and if he dislikes someone, he’s not afraid to show it

- Imagine Lila or Chloe trying to pull a move on him and he just drapes himself over Marinette saying: “I’m loyal to my owner.” With a shit eating grin

- Every Akuma, Lila, and a few times Chloe has been hissed at by Adrien/Chat Noir

- Marinette forgets that she can’t fly. Once as Ladybug she forgets about her yoyo and just jumps off a building expecting to fly off. She gave Chat Noir a cardiac arrest and he literally ran at Sonic speed to save the dumbass from going s p l a t

- And of course we have the purring. That’s pretty self explanatory

- Alya whimpers and can pull puppy eyes. Evil powers that are. Eviiiiiiil

- Chloe has honey in everything she eats it’s mad

- Bonus:

“Ahahah g-g-good joke Chaton! I’m not Marinette pffffft!”

“Princess. Only you smell like the Dupain Cheng Bakery and use Sakura shampoo and have lips smelling like strawberries.”

“Damn you and your heightened cat senses…”

“Damn me? YOU MADE ME FALL FOR YOU TWICE AND I THOUGHT I WAS AN UNLOYAL CAT FOR BEING IN LOVE WITH BOTH OF YOU ONLY TO REALISE YOU’RE BOTH THE SAME PERSON! I LOST MY BEAUTY SLEEP OVER THIS!”

As much as it sucks that they forgot everything, this seemed like a genuinely great episode to me. Like it STARTS OFF with them not remembering anything, and I always love memory wipe episodes like that. Where the characters gotta puzzle together what happened along with the audience.

Also, I LOVED how Adrien and Marinette’s intelligence shined in this episode. The little,,, pink polka-dotted Ladybug vision. And the Adrien vision!!! I’m actually super excited Adrien got a part like that!!! (At the same time I can’t BELIEVE he actually did that omfg)

The CONSENSUAL, MUTUAL Ladynoir kiss,,,, the LADRIEN KISS,,,, THE AMOUNT OF ADRIENETTE JUST BLEEDING OUT OF THIS EPISODE!!! This was easily one of my favourites out of the newer episodes! I’m super satisfied, this exceeded my expectations. (Admittedly, though, my expectations were pretty low.)
