okay, y’all know that scene in 4x02 where pidge is at matt’s grave and she’s being followed by a bounty hunter who ends up attacking her and matt?

it’s shot the same exact way as acxa watching keith, krolia, and kosmo visit texas kogane’s grave

so my theory? she’s still evil. her getting close to team voltron is nothing but an act to gain their trust. there’s also a reason she singled out keith and that’s because she’s still working for haggar (and possibly lotor), who wants keith’s quintessence. she’ll probably end up kidnapping keith and bringing him to haggar in s8, which will lead to keith getting corrupted.

y’know, as thrilled as i am about where allurance is going… after s6, i don’t think i would object to klance in canon anymore. with the character development that’s happened to both of them, it don’t think it’s completely unthinkable anymore.

i think keith has stopped needing to cling to shiro for his own sanity/stability, and i think lance has matured enough to stop flinging petty, withering insults at him.

lance’s growing love for allura and his right-hand man position has done him good—almost as much good as spending two years with an actual mother has done keith.

idk. color theory is not viable ship proof (i’m side-eyeing you, klancers), but if canon started veering into klance now, i would probably be pretty okay with that.

Voltron Season 3 Spoiler Warning

Yo guys, not sure if you noticed or not but that dude they rescued with the awful haircut isn’t our Shiro.

My evidence being:
-when he woke up and escaped there was a second Shiro, the Shiro we all know and love tied down in the room next door.
-the galras that held him captive kept taking about this special ‘project’ obviously involving Shiro
-he came back with a really weird headache
-the black lion wouldn’t let him pilot it
-he kept throwing off Keith’s leadership and turning the team against him when they prioritized Shiro’s opinion over his
-generally throwing off Keith and making him doubt his leadership, despite apologizing afterwards

My theory is, they grew this clone of Shiro as part of this secret project from when he was still a champion. They did something to the clone’s brain that may allow them to take control of him at some point and left seeds in his mind that causes him to slowly tear apart the team from the inside out. It seems like they inserted the real Shiro’s memory into the clone which gave him all the tools he needed to escape and reunite with his team, and also rendered him unaware that he is not the real Shiro.

Evil Shiro exists and Season 3 just introduced him to the team guys it’s happening.

Also theory: Matt in the next season is the one who helps the real Shiro escape

Sorry to add on, but further proof that the Shiro that escaped was a clone:

When “Shiro” stole a pod and was heading to the planet in escape, the Galra soldier on board said: “Notify command headquarters. Operation Kuron stage 3 is underway.”

Even in his new captivity with the two rebels, all “Shiro” would talk about was Voltron, over and over. That’s because it’s his mission.

Stage 3 of Operation Kuron is Shiro’s clone infiltrating Voltron. And he’s succeeded.
