“T-They’re not gonna get in here, right?” asks Lance, voice quivering as he backs himself up against the wall. His eyes are wide, mouth parted.

They shove up against the door again, the thud ringing throughout the room.

“Lance, now is not the time,” grits Keith, taking the impact as he leans against the door in a feeble attempt to keep it shut.

Snapping sounds on the other side of the door, the fangs of the spiders clacking together. Be it chatting or a fear tactic, Keith hopes to never know. There’s another harsh shove against the door. The frame snaps on one side, popping off the wall. Lance yelps as it falls to the floor with a dull thud. 

“There gonna eat us!” yells Lance.

“No they aren’t! Now get your bayard ready!”

Of course of all things to attack the castle in the middle of the night, it had to be giant, space spiders, the one tangible thing Lance was deathly afraid of. Keith just hopes the others are okay. Keith and Lance had been sleeping in their room when the alarm went off. They had just entered the halls when a swarm of spiders turned the corner, headed straight for them.

“Keith,” whimpers Lance, voice cracking as it breaks Keith out of his thoughts.

With a sigh, Keith says, “Lance they’re going to get in. You gotta be brave for me, okay?”

He watches Lance’s Adam’s apple bob as he swallows. He doesn’t say anything for a moment. “Okay.”

With one last shove, the door flies off it’s hinges, taking Keith down along with it.

The tit-off

So I tried uploading this for over two days now. But since our home interet had a melt-down I have to use the mobile version of tumblr and it won’t let me upload anything. :/
So.. The last two panels were additional - hence a bit sketchy, but mobile tumblr won’t even let me put pictures in my text posts XD
So… Uh I hope you like it?? Kuro and Shiro are having a little tit-off in this one, because they both try to impress Keith. Kuro is slightly smaller and less bulky than Shiro (but he’s still bulkier than most so damnit)… But he knows how to put his muscles on display ;)
He’s also a bit paler than the rest, but that’s because the poor baby has never seen the sun before.
Maybe I’ll draw a comic where the Paladins take him on a trip to a planet and he gets a sunburn after like five minutes or so XD

okay but cute drunk klance things

Keith has this dry humor when he’s drunk. he never laughs at his own jokes, half the time Lance isn’t sure whether he’s joking or not, but whenever Lance makes a joke, Keith is gone. he’s doubled over, shoulders shaking from how hard he laughs. plus he starts to get really touchy. more times than once he’s just draped himself over Lance, enjoying the skin to skin contact and shared body heat. only downside is his hair pretty much always goes in Lance’s nose, so Lance sneezes on him every time.

Lance gets really bubbly. he gets excited over the tiniest thing and giggles over pictures of cute alien creatures. he’ll walk up to Keith, throw his arms around him, and kiss every inch of his face, drunkenly murmuring how much he loves him. every time Keith gets into one of his laughing fits, Lance watches with the smile of a child who actually a pony for their birthday, eyes wide and fond, heart thudding in his chest. he always starts to hiccup after the second drink, making Keith slowly laugh harder and harder the more often it happens.

Pidge always takes videos and pictures of them drunk together. at first she wanted to use it as blackmail when the sobered up, but after they watched the first one, laughing their asses off, she kept doing it as a way to keep morale up. none of them were able to not watch two dorks so absolutely in love, giggling and sneezing and hiccuping without smiling and laughing themselves. Hunk is always the one to watch over them as they start to come down, feeding them and keeping them hydrated. Shiro tends watches for a bit, laughing and smiling with everyone else, before disappearing, with a quiet “if i don’t see it, then it didn’t happen”
