not to be an anti or anything but how does “you’re my brother, I love you” sound like a declaration of undying romantic love
Sheith right? Listen, I love sheith with my heart and soul, it was my first ship before I finished first season. I also really liked klance. Im a very large multishipper. Also, totally on bored with the Shklance ship as well. Now, I feel like I need to address some things about Sheith shippers that are needed to be addressed.
Sheith is an amazing ship and I love it so much. Though the shippers with the exact scene of “Shiro, you’re my brother. I love you” the shippers are forgetting of the, youre my brother and focusing on the I love you. I feel the point of this season is to show the multiple stages of love and different forms.
We got heart break from Lance and Allura, Friendly (Science lab partners since middle school) love from Pidge and Hunk,
Actual romantic love from Allura and Lotor, as well as Krolia and Mr.Kogane,
Mother and son love from Lotor and Honerva,
Love for her people from Romelle,
Animal love from Space dog bc cmon,
And of course sibling love from Shiro and Keith.
I feel like the, “You’re my brother.” is much larger than we intended it to be. Keith is telling Shiro hes his brother, vs. the first time he said “You’re like my brother”. After those two years with Krolia he was finally able to achieve time to himself and mature. He was no longer was hesitant and even told Shiro he loved him, as a brother.

Continue shipping your ships, i’m not anti Sheith and never will be, just bringing something to your attention. Just a friendly reminder that you shouldnt ignore one side of something so important for ships, especially with how important the small line of, “You’re my brother” is.
I completely agree with this post. I’m a Sheith shipper because a lot of content made with it is adorable and funny, and that’s what I love about ships. But canon wise, Sheith isn’t going to happen because Keith and Shiro view each other as brothers and have ever since Keith was a kid.
As a side note, I still love Sheith and love all the new content coming from this season, but I hate it when people do skip over what Keith actually said to Shiro and claim Sheith is going to be canon now.
