why why why do people still use the excuse “i don’t like the fandom” for hating a series. dude all fandoms are absolute garbage cesspools, you’re never going to find a good fandom unless it’s like, ridiculously small. and even then there are still going to be some bad people in it.
it’s understandable to hate a fandom, but it’s not right to use that as a reason for not liking a franchise. the people behind it don’t have any control over the way their fans act, and the fans are not reflective of what the franchise is like.
