Akemi- meaning bright and beautiful

This is my atla OC! I’ve always wanted to make one but i never seemed to create the right person. Thankfully this one made the cut. Some info about her:

Element: Fire

Age:19

Background:

She comes from one of the most well known “rich” families that live inside the Fire Nation. They are famously known for their powerful bending and being the only daughter to continue the family image, she’s always trained extra hard.

Akemi loves bending so training was never an issue. She has a close bond with her family and enjoys bending matches. When she meets the avatar, (them in hopes of her teaching them firebending), she is sad to leave her parents but understands the great honor and responsibility it is to help work with the Avatar.

TIme:

So in this AU, it isafter Avatar Aang passes. While he was alive there wasn’t any major upgrades to the world. The only thing different about the world Akemi lives in is that all elements and sections of the map are open to each other once again. There is no discourse and that is what Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko accomplished during his time. 

Zuko is still alive along with Katara and Toph. Zuko is still the Fire Lord but the time is coming for his daughter to take his place. Akemi really looks up to Zuko.

More about Akemi:

She’s never left the Fire Nation simply because her family is always busy with their work and high status. So leaving with the Avatar is her taking two journeys at once.

She never grooms her hair, but only will when there is a dinner party hosted by her family. The only other time you may see it semi-presentable is if she puts it into a high bun. That’s only when she gets tired of it hanging on her neck.

Majority of the time, she will wear long decorated robes that hold their family crest. Her family are the Hirayama Emperor Tamarins. Last name being Hirayama and their crest being an emperor tamarin.
