Veiled (Akumatized Marinette Reveal! AU)

I’ve been wanting to make an akumatized Marinette since forever and here it finally is “:D just had to hop on that bandwagon 

Tho side note Thomas Austruc totally needs to make an ep where she gets akumatized and Chat has to flip out and figure out how the heck he’s gonna fix everything

Here’s more info about “Veiled” since the images are pretty vague. Warning, it’s pretty extensive. If you read it, let me know if i should write a OneShot on it:

Event Leading up to Akumatization: Chloe decided to be more of a pain for Marinette the past week and was spreading false, humiliating rumors about Marinette throughout the school. A lot of people believed them and it spread further onto the internet. It took Marinette 2 whole days to figure out that the rumors were spread. Alya would’ve found out immediately but she lost her phone. How inconvenient lol. Marinette confronts Chloe in front of the class and Chloe’s all like “might as well be true”. 

Akumatization: Marinette was mad and humiliated and Tikki was trying her best to calm her down but she couldn’t. Hawkmoth took this advantage to akumatize her. He says:

“Veiled… I grant you the power to posses the deepest most hidden secrets from your enemies who’ve laughed at lies. With a single touch they will cry your tears and open their mouths to spill their secrets for the world to hear. In return, you must give me Ladybug and Chat Noir’s miraculous.”

Akuma: A necklace she was wearing that day given to her from her mom :’)

What happens during Akumatization: Veiled roams around Paris like any other Akuma and begins to steathily touch people and hear their deepest secrets. Everytime she touches one, they begin to cry pink tears and even after they’ve spilled their guts the tears linger as proof she’s already affected that person.

Adrien figures out about the Akuma (still not knowing that it’s Marinette) from Alya on her phone watching the news. She sprints out to the action and Adrien hides away to transform.

Chat Noir is analyzing the Akuma and figures out it’s Marinette by her repeating “Tell me your deepest secrets...” He never believed the rumors and did one time also confront Chloe about it, but she dissed it off as if the rumors would just disappear the next day. A good majority of Paris has been touched by the fingers of Veiled and Chat Noir is freaking out because Ladybug hasn’t showed up yet.

Times are desperate and just before Chat Noir gives up Tikki shows up before him. She’s frantic and tells him that Ladybug won’t show up because Marinette is Ladybug and that he needs to help.

He has a minor revelation but quickly gets to work on saving the love of his life.f

Veiled does get to Chloe and she cries her heart out of secrets, and when Chat Noir shows up he accidently gets touched and spills his secrets too. Except, his deepest secret wasn’t that he was Adrien Agreste, but that his father will never love and be proud of him.

Chat noir figures out that the way to get close enough to Marinette in order to snatch up her necklace was to keep revealing secrets of his to where she would feel less bad about herself. 

After Akumatization: Adrien confesses to Marinette that he knows her identity and then reveals that he is Chat Noir. She flips out. Things go back to normal and Chloe is suspended from school for a week no matter how much she begged her father. He too thought it was really low of her.
