my friend asked me to come get food with her and i said i wasn’t too hungry but i’ll come anyway bc i felt bad. so she asks me what my budget is and i said i don’t want to spend over $25, and i brought exactly $25 in cash. so she decides on a japanese restaurant and it’s sharing plates. i said i’m not too picky or too hungry so she can pick the dishes she wants. she picks a ton of dishes and i don’t even eat that much because like i said, i’m not too hungry. (also side thing that annoys me is that if there’s three things on a plate, she always takes the third without asking lmao but ok). so we go to pay and the bill is $90!!!!!! they don’t do split bills, so i told her i don’t have enough in cash or on my card but i’ll transfer her money from my other bank acc right away. she throws a fuss even though every time we go out, i always foot the bill ??? and keeps asking me why i can’t do it this time like bitch i have nothing on my card. so she reluctantly pays and i’m good with paying my debt so i open up my bank app on my phone to transfer her money. i just give her my phone so she can plug in her bank details and when she gives it back to me i see that she went ahead and transferred herself $50…. out of $90… ?!?? like bitch that is NOT half. and in the grand scheme, $10 isn’t a big deal BUT it’s so shady like why are you trying to scam me combined with the fact that i literally told you i didn’t want to spend a lot and you, yourself, ordered $90 worth of food 🙃
