My tumblr is being stupid and won’t let me rant so here it is in a completely new post.
Keith never wanted the position as the Black Paladin. Shiro, the only thing that he had that was like family, was ripped away from him again. Keith didn’t want to fit that position even though he knew he had to. His leading style is most definitely different from Shiro’s but they are two different people. They’ve experienced different things. Keith attacks things head on.
Now, do not compare Keith’s situation to Lance’s. I love Lance but I also love Keith and they have different things to deal with. While Lance is dealing with only internal issues and insecurities, Keith is dealing with external and internal issues. Keith has to think about how he feels like he’s replacing Shiro and betraying him but taking his spot. He’s also dealing with the Galra forces and the team barring down on his and bashing his style of leading.
Keith is under a lot of pressure and stress, he’s scared and insecure, too. He’s doing his best he knows how. He didn’t have human interaction for at least a year and even at the Garrison he didn’t seem to be very social. Being a leader and having people depend on him is something completely new.
Yeah, he piloted the red lion and the other Paladins relied on him, but now it’s even more so. Now, if he makes one mistake his teammates, his best friends, his FAMILY, could be captured and/or killed.
So, do not compare his pressure and stress to Lance’s insecurities when they are completely different in several ways. And while we have seen Lance voice his insecurities several times, we’ve never seen Keith do that. Which means he keeps his thoughts to himself, and that adds to the stress.

I’ve had to explain this to people who think it’s weird, but when I add, “You know… like cats…” they seem to understand.
The first time they had sex, Lance had nearly died in order to save Keith. Emotions had been high and adrenaline was still pumping through them. Each clumsy touch was filled with so much love, each kiss was desperate backed up with the fear of loss. It was as uncoordinated and messy as their first kiss had been, but the cravings to know each other, to fully know each others bodies outweighed the awkwardness of their movements. Sweat slipped down their skin and mixed together as their chests rubbed against each other. Lance was laid on his back, limbs coiled around Keith in a desperate attempt to keep him close. Each thrust hit the soft flesh of his inner thighs causing a slap to echo around the room, only to be drowned out by Lance’s sweet cries of pleasure. This was one of the times Keith wished Lance never shuts up, hearing the moans mixed with breathy sighs of his name and gargled messes of Spanish made his heart stutter. They were beautiful just like the man they were coming from. He panted wetly against the base of Lance’s throat, arms placed on either side of his head to brace himself as he rolled his hips into him. He knew there would be bruises and scratches in the morning if Lances nails racking down his back and the tingling pain in his hip bones were anything to go by but right now Keith couldn’t bring himself to care especially when Lance’s ocean blue eyes catch his deep lavender ones and his red, kiss swollen lip begin to sputter out begs and pleas of harder, faster, and “P-please, Keith touch me more.” Right now, Keith just wants to drown in the ocean that is Lance.
okay Voltron theory time. So I know a lot of people thought that Acxa was Keith’s mother but after watching this season it seems like she is too close in age and her interactions with him don’t seem motherly at all. But I have a few reasons why she could be his sister.
First off, we know from this scene in from Season 2 that she is pretty important to the story since she was introduced before all the other Galra ladies. We can assume that she is significant to Keith’s character since she met him, not the other paladins.
The show even goes out of its way to make Keith have a flashback of this scene in s3 ep6 while Keith and Acxa battle. Both literally pointing out that she was the Galra soldier he met, and making it clear to the audience that their discovery of each other’s identity will be important.
It is also significant to note that Acxa hasn’t killed Keith yet, even though she is a Galra soldier. She lets him get away in their first encounter and their fight in s3
I don’t know about you, but letting them get away felt very fishy to me.
But this is where the sibling part really comes in, Thace stated in s3 ep1 that all Lotor’s main people aren’t full Galra
And out off all of Lotor’s Galra ladies, Acxa is the only one who looks human.
So far the only alien races that resemble humans are literal humans and Alteans (and we know Acxa is not an Altean). And since she is not full galra the only other option is half human-half galra
And we all know who the other half human-half galra character is
plus as people have pointed out, they do look alike. And who knows? They could even be twins, their paths seem to be mirroring each others after all
^^^^ I was thinking this exact thing, especially this last image which shows both of their faces side by side. They both have really similar facial features, and even their snarls look pretty similar. I don’t think it’s coincidence. @dylexa
