@edelwary I think the reason people have gone with the whole “Keith is lactose intolerant” narrative is because a lot of East Asians are (like about 90% in some communities) and a lot of the fandom considers him to be East Asian (which is kinda questionable with the reveal of his father but that’s beside the point…). Also milk is really only drawn in this fandom within the context of Keith being lactose intolerant and it really doesn’t appear with the other characters or in other scenarios because it just isn’t something people are usually inclined to draw.

I pull up at this nice ass house, I’m walking to the door as the woman pulls in her driveway so the pizza is definitely not late.

I’m all smiley and courteous and shit, she tipped me $1 on a $51 bill. 

The next house I have is in a lower class neighborhood, she tips me $4.00 on a $14 bill. 

rich people don’t value yr labor at all

This has ALWAYS been my experience in food service. Rich people tip like shit because they feel your job isn’t a ‘real’ job. They’re used to being serviced so they don’t appreciate hard labor. It’s so gross.

And poorer people always tip nice because…well the opposite reason.

By and large, rich people just…do not care as much as other poor people, or formerly poor people who are now middle class.

listen my friend i feel this…..tbh i was a huge sha//llura stan for like almost an entire year, it was a ship i was super invested in for a long time. like you, i (and like, a majority of the fandom) mistakenly assumed that all//ura was an adult for that time which in retrospect i realize was careless. but anyway….personally i’ve avoided it ever since the creators referred to her as a “teen” (and as you said, apparently one of the new books says that as well??). yeahh she may technically be hundreds of years old, but she’s still like the altean equivalent of a teenager from what i gather. so…yeah. just my personal feelings on the matter. 

p.s. for future reference i prefer that ppl ask me about this kinda thing privately/off-anon cuz i’m trying to keep this blog relatively discourse-free! thanks <33
