The main thing that annoys me so much when people compare Kylo Ren and Vader is that they are fundamentally different characters. 

Anakin was born a slave and set up to fail by the system from the very beginning. Vader’s life was filled with pain and misery until the very end. He is the ultimate fallen hero story. Not to forget that Vader was offered one chance to make it right and end everything and he took that chance by killing the emperor, dying in the process. There was never a place for him after this. He died to be forgotten. That was the prize he paid for saving Luke. 

Kylo Ren on the other hand was born in a loving family of war heroes in a time of peace. He is entitled, unstable, very violent, and thinks he can do whatever he wants just because he has the power to do so. He was offered two chances of turning back to the light and stop and both times he declined and reacted violently.

In other words, you all wish Kylo Ren would come anywhere near Vader, but he doesn’t. And he never will be.
