bitch I really can’t fucking believe that lance is keiths stability and keith is lances motivation and that lance wasn’t emotionally prepared for the bonding moment probably bc he couldn’t believe the guy he looked up to that he created a rivalry with was being that soft with him and they’re literally both pining FOOLS who love each other and haven’t done anything about it
Iverson told Lance not to follow Keith in his footsteps, but now he has the Red Lion, his sword, he’s Shiro’s right hand man… do you think he ever compares himself to Keith, or…?
Jeremy: Interesting! I think that Lance, I think it’s one of those kind of frenemy type things where - they’re definitely a lot closer now in the show, they’ve all been living together for like, a long period of time now, working and fighting alongside each other, there’s less of the like bickery rival-ness. But I think early on at least, he definitely had the kind of jealousy of the person you want to be. And the only reason he basically got to be a fighter pilot class was because Keith dropped out otherwise he wouldn’t have been up to that mark, is just barely good enough to get in? So I think he always had a chip on his shoulder with all that, so I think early on, it was more that’s the specific guy I want to be, I know I can be that person. And throughout the show, his arc is moreso, him getting humbled definitely a lot.

All the rich people in the notes trying to defend the truth of this by whining about how they were raised to save every penny (because obviously poor people are poor because they never save money not because there’s a fucked up system that perpetuates poverty or anything) and it was so hard being raised to be like that boo hoo hoo
poor people buy people food because we remember what it felt like to go hungry so y’all can fuck off with this it was so hard growing up rich bullshit
My mum as poor as we were growing up and I’m talking dirt poor where sometimes we’d have weeks with no power poor would NEVER let my friends go hungry if they came over. nEVER. Reverse this, I went round a friends who wanted to get take out 100% their choice and I said I had no money so would feel bad but they were like it’s fine. Their parents then proceeded to not only charge my mum for the meal but also the lift home. My mum literally nearly lost her mind.
Don’t ever give me this rich people are rich because they were brought up to save. Rich people don’t need to save. They’re just greedy lmao
