lance making stuff with his own hands
lance leaving presents for his teammates
lance leaving them in places only they would go
lance making sure no one knows it’s him
lance beaming secretly in pride when they wear/hold/eat the thing he made
lance keeping a straight face and trying not to feel too hurt when everyone is trying to guess who is leaving presents and they never mention his name
okay but i take your langst and raise you soft klance where everyone’s talking about who they think is leaving the presents and lance looks to keith and goes, “hey keith you haven’t said anything. who do you think is leaving them?”
and keith, who’s really distracted with the notes from their last diplomatic meeting that allura wanted him to read (‘why do i have to read these allura?’ ‘because you’re the least diplomatic of this entire crew and i’m trying to fix it.’ ’…valid.’), barely glances up before saying, “you, obviously.”
and lance is really glad someone’s mentioned his name now but also really surprised that it was keith.
so allura says, “how is it so obvious?”
and keith just goes, totally matter-of-fact, “because he’s lance.”
lance just blinks at him.
pidge snorts from a few feet away. “that doesn’t even make sense.”
“it does, though,” keith says, absently shuffling through the note cards. he waves a hand. “he might not be the nicest guy here, but he’s the most thoughtful.”
lance grabs the hand that’s still kinda just hanging in the air. keith is so distracted that he just laces his fingers through lance’s and continues reading. the whole room’s silent.
it’s A GOOD THIRTY SECONDS before keith even looks up. and when he does, he just glances back and forth between lance and their hands a couple times and then shifts their positioning so that he can hold lance’s hand at his side instead of floating in the air. he goes right back to his reading.

I can’t believe its been almost four years since I did this stupid wolfsong film.
If I were to do this film now, I would have approached it differently. The story was about a mother wolf who breaks in a hunter’s den and rescues her cub, only to find it a motionless trophy. She sings a lullaby so her offspring could sleep. Little does she know that a young naive hunter stalks her through the forest.
