how do I live knowing this lamp exists and I don’t have it
Seriously, stop fucking stealing, reposting, using artwork without permission.
Miraculous Ladybug is so amazing in that it’s been translated to many different languages and has fans all over the world. So many people are creating fanworks to express their love for the show.
But you, fucking art thieves, have completely disregarded the care and love they’ve put into their works, and have hurt countless of creators with your careless and immature behavior.
If you think it’s okay to steal artwork from someone just because they don’t speak English and live half way across the world, you’re an asshole. You claim to love a show where the main characters believe in and promote doing the right thing, but you yourselves actively hurt others with your selfishness. You’re disgusting.
Don’t repost artworks without permission. Don’t pretend something is yours when its not. Stop insulting and offending creators to the point where they want to stop creating.
Grow the fuck up.

If you think art theft doesn’t affect you because you’re not an artist, I’ve got news for you:

1) It takes up artists’ drawing time: tracking down and reporting art thieves takes time. That’s time they can’t spend creating art.
That means less art for you.2) It ruins an artist’s headspace: after a bout of dealing with assholes, chances are an artist isn’t in the mood to draw even if they have the time to.
That means less art for you.3) It drives artists out of the fandom: plenty of artists get so fed up with art thieves that they flat-out stop posting art.
That means less art for you.
Basically, in every way, art theft leads to less art for the fandom, and no one wants that, right? So please, whenever you see stolen art (and especially accounts that are made up of mostly reposts/stolen art), report the accounts, report the posts, and inform the original artist if you can.
You might think you don’t have the right to report something, or it’s the original artist’s problem, but artists can’t be everywhere at once. Please support artists by protecting their art from thieves.
Also, friendly reminder that in just about every country on earth, reposting/stealing artwork is not only a dick move, it is also **ILLEGAL**.

^^YES TO ALL THIS^^
I myself have had to stop drawing for the Disney fandom, because all of my art kept getting stolen/reposted/sold and all recognition and credit was completely STRIPPED away from me…Will I draw more Disney art again someday? yeah! but tbh, like the above tumblr bloggers mentioned; after all the art thieving I don’t feel like having to battle for my art (when i shouldn’t have to in the first place)
I mention this because I feel bad for the ppl who followed me for Disney and haven’t seen much Disney art, but this is why: it’s because of reposters and art thieves have totally ruined it for me and I feel like I can’t share any Disney art in fear that it will get stolen or reposted!
Quite frankly, this is why I love the Miraculous Ladybug fandom!! Even though there are some art thieves/reposters running around, there are a LOT of wonderful folks who help to stop them and put an end to their illegal stupidity (unlike the Disney fandom which doesn’t do much since the fandom is too big :/ )
