Bonus: 

Adrien has been known to sulk or be passive aggressive because he has just one shitty father while Marinette has amazing parents, a grandmother who is now visiting, Gabriel and Nathalie are 100% willing to adopt her, and Jagged and Penny would step up as aunt/uncle in a heartbeat if not parents. True the Dupain-Cheng’s may act like parents to Adrien and support him occasionally but they are on the ‘he already has parents’ side of the argument, unlike Gabriel and Nathalie who would kill the Dupain-Chengs if they ever upset Marinette so they could adopt her. Gabriel and Nathalie will push for Adrienette to happen just so they can have Marinette as a daughter and part of their family officially. 

Dupain-Cheng’s aren’t as obsessed and just want Marinette to be happy….with Chat Noir.

It was morning, the birds were chirping their songs of old as the weary students trudged up the steps to their classes, unaware of just how exciting this day would be…

“Alya!” Called the bluenette as she raced up the stairs. “Hold that door!” She was speaking to her friend who had just been opening the door to their classroom.

“Well, well, look what the cat dragged in. You, Marinette, actually made it to school on time for once!”

“It’s not that rare!” Marinette cried in indignation. “Maman was needing help in the bakery this morning. So I’ve been up for a while.”

“Uh huh,” said Alya “well, at least I won’t have to take notes while you take a nap in first period. You’ll actually be able to write your own!”

“Alya~” the two girls took their seats as Nino and Adrien walked in.

“Come on, dude. You seriously were up all night watching an anime?” The former exclaimed. “What show could possibly convince you sleep wasn’t important.”

“Nino, Nino. You will never understand the true power of Ouran Academy’s Host Club.”

“What? Kiss Kiss Make Me Sick? Dude, Adrien, that show is so old!”

“It’s only a couple years old. Besides, watch this!” Adrien stepped up to Marinette’s desk, smiling and turning on the Tamaki-Charm “Hello, Princess.” He slipped a finger under her chin as a blush shot up Marinette’s poor little face. “Has anyone told you how much your eyes resemble a sapphire? But alas, my dear you are more precious than a-“

“Watch out, skater coming through!” Kim bellowed as he shoved Adrien out of the way up the stairs.

The whole class froze until a single sound of a camera clicking jolted them all out of their shock. Adrien was kissing Marinette. Both of whom wore faces of pure surprise.
