It arrived, the art book of ‘Dofus Livre 1: Julith’.
Aside from spelling and grammar mistakes in the English translations of the French text, I had a blast going through this art book. It is filled to the brim with goodies, early design concepts, background art, behind the scenes glimpses and many many spoilers. This made me a whole lot more excited for the movie. If you wish to buy the art book, you can order it from the Ankama shop.

The ‘Dofus Livre 1: Julith’ soundtrack arrived earlier today and what a treat it is. The music is rich in sound, full with atmosphere and different from the Wakfu and Dofus series soundtracks thanks to the excellent performances of L’Orchestre National De Lille and Le Star Pop Orchestra. Composed by
Guillaume Houze, who was also the composer of ‘Sur Tes Pas’, the Wakfu intro theme.
You can order the soundtrack on various French websites (like FNAC) and the French Ankama Shop.
The movie will release TOMORROW in the French cinemas, the 3rd of February 2016.
Quelques images-boards et recherches preparatoires sur les personnages principaux du film DOFUS, les designs définitifs étant ensuite réalisés par Xavier Houssin, le chara-designer originel de l’univers Dofus/Wakfu.

vous pouvez aussi voir mes recherches sur les Dieux, avant que la scène ne soit supprimée du scénario ^^’ (you can check my early concepts on the Gods, before the scene were cut off the script…)
The movie ‘Dofus Livre 1: Julith’, available in French cinemas as of TODAY, the 3rd of February 2016.
Taking place three years after the animated series ‘Dofus: Aux Trésors de Kerubim’, the movie tells the story about Joris, a ten year old boy who lives with his surrogate father Kerubim Crepin in a shop possessed by a friendly demon located in the city of Bonta.
Joris dreams of knowing what his parents were like and finds an example in the Gobbowl super star Khan Karkass, his idol. When the chance to meet Khan and get an autograph from him arrives, Joris disobeys Kerubim’s request to stay at home and sneaks out with his best friend Lilotte to meet Khan.
While Joris is out, Kerubim learns about the terrible truth which is coming their way; Julith the Butcher, a witch who is accountable for many deaths several years prior has returned to take revenge on Bonta and is seeking for something which will turn Joris’ life completely upside down. With a broken ebony dragon egg, a Dofus, in her possession, nothing will stop Julith from reaching her goal. Not even a little boy.
Will Joris and his friends be able to stop Julith or will she be able to fulfill her own desire by any means necessary?
