It occurs to me that maybe people think Hawkmoth is Gabriel’s secret twin brother because a large part of the fandom just migrated in after Gravity Falls ended.

In Gravity Falls the twin theory makes sense and fits to the point it doesn’t feel at all like a cliché.

In Ladybug this would literally be something we call pulled out of a butthole twist. It doesn’t fit and doesn’t make sense, and would feel too soap opera cliché.

It doesn’t work.
