Understand the severity of your claims. You may be young but you need to know how the things you say can shape a life. Especially yours. Don't open yourself up to debate about it. This whole thing is dragged out much longer than it needed to be. You're right, you're young and rash and that's okay because you're learning from your mistakes. You shouldn't have to be making politician-like posts but when you put yourself into that position you're forced to deal with the backlash that comes from it.

I know. They were really intense claims and I feel terrible about that. And at this point I should stop being melodramatic and just delete the post altogether instead of saying what I should’ve done. 

The thing was dragged out, Thomas Astruc did send his forgiveness, and honestly I feel terrible for not receiving it well the first time now. 

I’m honestly so sorry.

Thank you for your response. I feel like using the age card is honestly a huge fallacy in arguing, but I’ve seen multiple people argue that there is a distinctive shift in mental growth during teenage years, and there is still a large gap between the mental facilities of teenagers and adults. Not sure if “facilities” is the right word there, but it’ll have to do for now. 

Thank you for thinking I’ve been mature about this. I honestly don’t know if I have, because when people were telling me how proud they were of me for apologizing, I didn’t get it at first because I tend to apologize for everything because I invalidate myself on everything. 

But thank you for voicing your opinion on this. It means a lot to me, it really does.
