Ahh nope. For Marinette, I was just searching French boy names that began with M and Marin came up. I thought it fit nicely though I didn’t notice until after I picked it that it was basically Marinette without the -ette part. The similarity is in spelling only though since Marin is pronounced quite differently from Marinette. 

As for Adrien, I just chose the feminine equivalent of the name which is Adrienne.

So far I have monster pop and homestuck but I’m trying to find other ones. Anyone know any? If so please reblog this and add it in a comment.

Dumbing of Age is a favorite of mine. We just finished storyline about a girl coming out (well, it’s a lot more than that- running away from homophobic home, hiding out. It starts there and goes for a while). Dina kind of enters a relationship with Becky by the end of that storyline.

There’s also several other bisexual/lesbian characters, including Billie and Ruth, who are in a relationship (but they’re both kind of hot messes, so working through that is an ongoing storyline).

In that same vein, there’s Shortpacked! Technically, Dumbing of Age is like… a College AU of this story. Robin DeSanto and Leslie Bean meet and develop a relationship and eventually get married and have triplets. Malaya and Ultra Car (Called Carla in the duming of age universe, where she is not a robot) also eventually end up in a relationship, but Carla is a trans robot who used to be a car, so take that as you will.

There’s also The Property of Hate. Melody and Julienne are side characters and are also like…. an instrument monster and a ballet knife bird but they’re wives, okay?

Alice isn’t Dead only has one episode out right now, but. Lesbian trucker.

There might be more and I will get those to you when I remember them.

el goonish shive starts out kinda meh but eventually works its way around to dealing with a lot of gender/sexuality things gently and with respect and two of the recurring cast members are a lesbian couple (think slightly more than homestuck level of focus)

i’ve heard a lot about carmilla? in which the main ship is the two main (female) characters i believe, although i haven’t watched it so i don’t know for sure
