Special thanks to the Venezuelan dictatorship, for:
Constantly cutting the power to areas of the city, (including my house), which means I can’t connect to the internet, can’t cook, can’t study at night, can’t use fans to cool down the house, can’t do laundry, etc. It’s the 5th time they’ve cut the power this week.
Not allowing malls to open before 12PM, which means I cannot continue my French classes, since the only free time I have to study French is in the week-day mornings.
Only allowing water in our homes for 4 days a week, because apparently we don’t need to bathe/cook/do laundry/etc.
Not doing anything about the fact Caracas was named one of the most violent and dangerous cities in the world, for the whatever year in a row. We are now #1 apparently?
Allowing this food/medicine shortages to continue, while people are dying all over the country because there are no essential medicines to be found, and food is too expensive.
