i mean he can try all he wants, but its been said only ladybug can purify the akumas. also imo he’s too much of a softie, he would never blame the victim for “giving him shit” and proceed to beat them up or anything lol.
the thing is with this series, we can’t go and hope for an episode where adrien/chat noir does everything by himself, because this show is centered on marinette/ladybug; she is the protagonist while he is the deuteragonist. so he will always be second to her!
