Story (read: explanation) time!
I made up this little personal headcanon tidbit for Alys quite a while back but didn’t do much with it because ‘it’s kinda silly and weird’. I did discuss it with a few people but I kept it to myself in terms of not doing anything character story or creativity wise… until today!
I have been asked several times if Alys can create images out of Wakfu, a quality Qilby showed in the animated series. I answered 'no’ to that question each time and that, if she were to try, all she could form would be vague images with hardly any defining shapes. So my personal little headcanon is that when Alys is very much at peace while asleep, she will 'leak’ Wakfu which will try to play out whatever she is dreaming. Since she can’t form Wakfu images properly, most of her Wakfu will be but specks and swirls floating through the air rather than any clear imagery. These will fade over time.
Because this is pure Wakfu floating about unattended, anyone close by her will be affected by it to a certain degree, especially when coming into contact with a 'speck’. It is in small quantities so it won’t have too much of a heavy effect but it can energize and/or replenish someone for quite a bit when touched by a few 'specks’ (how about several cups of coffee in one go?). So apologies to anyone who wishes to sleep in her presence when she goes through this
Alys does wake up fairly exhausted after such a night and feeling like she hasn’t slept at all, so while it is all very pretty, it drains her Wakfu and energy reserves.
As said, this isn’t part of official Eliatrope lore; it is headcanon created by yours truly for just Alys so it shouldn’t be taken all too seriously.
