Adrien’s home is no longer safe because Gabriel is going to do everything he can to take the ring and Plagg away from him. I don’t think Gabriel will directly try to physically hurt him but he has already made the point of using his authority over Adrien to get him to do what he wants.

Whether he uses an akuma to get to Adrien or does it himself remains to be seen, but it’s obvious at this point Adrien isn’t going to be safe.
