SO I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT THIS EPISODE PROBABLY NOT HAVING A BIG REVEAL/CHANGE IN PLOT BY THE END OF IT BECAUSE:
Technically, it can be possible that Winny and Thomas have two different Season Finales. Since Origins takes place before any episode we’ve seen today, it makes sense that this can be the last episode chronologically because Origins took place fully in the past.
Astruc has also said that he wants the show to be in a format where there is a different “arc” being told in each season.
So what i’m really saying is…
SHIT’S GONNA GO DOWN.

I have to confess–and I say this with much respect for all the marvelous content in this fandom–that I think that A Pedestal Hero No More is on a league of its own. That one is a masterpiece. The subject matter is unique–major props to the unequaled @caprette–and the straightforward yet emotional way that @jubilantwriter adapted it just ruined me. I am both happy yet frustrated that it ended where it did. I am craving for more, yet “more” will lead to resolution, and resolution will then remove it from its state of heavenly angst. I am torn tbh.
That said, there are many fics for destroying your heart. Let us begin.
