I’m lowkey angry that the fandom didn’t like the episode because honestly i found it really good..
I hope im not being too precise but i feel like there was too much hate aimed on volpina and i was like “whyy??”
•Volpina brought out a side of Ladybug Andrien hadn’t seen before, the jealous Marinette one.
•She was kind of a surprise when she proved to be the opposite of what the fandom had been expecting…
•She was an interesting character as she indeed acted like a fox throughout the episode, being sneaky and clever (i really loved that)
I just don’t think that she was that bad, I mean this is an actual show guys, not everyone but chloe and hawk moth are nice
I thought it was one of the best villains so far and, while I want to strangle the character, she made for an interesting foe. Definitely a smart, dangerous enemy, who managed to mindfuck everyone much better than Hawk Moth did with his “it’s the heroes fault I’m attacking the city” bluff.
Also her design is fantastic.
I’ll gush some more.
She did not fight them. She did not fight them. Through illusions and guile alone, she nearly got Ladybug’s miraculous, not once but twice.
But she did not fight the heroes. She bluffed, she blackmailed and she ran away, but at no point were Chat and Ladybug actually in physical danger.
Yet she nearly won.
Another thing i really liked about her was that when she got detransformed, her anger hadn’t blown over like it happens to every other akumatized victim, she was still angry at ladybug or at the least bit annoyed…
I was watching Little Witch Academia and couldn’t stop seeing Lucy as Akko so it became a ridiculous AU
