1) she’s DIFFERENT. yet another character in a cast of diverse characters. having her as an antagonist makes ML more interesting.
2) i know shes a liar but she’s also really clever on the hints she picks up? and she kinda knows exactly what she needs to do to try and get something and i admire that tbh
3) i have been in her shoes before. i moved schools a lot growing up and its tough i told a lot of lies to make myself interesting too. i even talked in a fake southern accent for a while to get attention lmao
