Marinette sighed happily as she finished the lilac fondant flowers on the cake. She stood back to admire her work when the bell rang, signalling a customer.

“Marinette? You in?” a familiar voice asked making her heart skip a beat. “In the kitchen!” she yelled before ducking behind the counter. She stifled her giggles as Adrien walked in. “Marinette?” he asked looking around, confused. He walked a few paces forward.

“Boo!” she yelled and Adrien let out a high pitched scream. Marinette doubled over in laughter, tears soon streaming down her face. “Y-your…f-f-face!” she gasped. Adrien was clutching his t-shirt and his expression was PRICELESS.

“I can’t believe you.” Adrien mumbled still recovering from the shock. Marinette was still giggling as she managed to stand up. “I saw the the opportunity and I took it.” she replied wiping the tears from her eyes. Adrien rolled his emerald green eyes but his expression softened at the sight of the girl.

They had been friends for the past few months after a tremendous amout of patience from Ayla and Nino. Marinette had finally stopped stuttering around him and he had managed to start a friendship with her.

He started to walk her home after school and slowly he began to visit her on weekends. It all took time but it was worth it, especially the day that they had found out each others identity. It was quite a shock to both of them but it made their lives a whole lot easier.

Adrien would be lying if he said he didn’t have a crush on the bluenette who also happened to be his Ladybug. And Marinette would be lying to herself if she tried to convince herself that she wasn’t falling for Adrien Agreste as well as his alter ego, Chat Noir.

Adrien spotted the gorgeous confectionery on the counter. “Wow, Marinette, you really outdid yourself on this birthday cake.” Marinette blushed at the praise and stood next to him. “Thank you Adrien. It’s for a girl named Angie. She’s twenty-one today!” Marinette said cheerfully.

“She is an amazing artist and her artwork is absolutely spectacular!” Marinette said as she added edible glitter to the fondant roses. “Done!” she exclaimed happily.

“I hope Angie likes the cake.” Adrien said. “I hope so too.” Marinette replied packing away her utensils. Adrien smiled as the idea formed in his head. She was not going to get away with scaring him. “Marinette?” Adrien asked as he watched her clean the surfaces. “Yes?” she replied looking up to face him.

He grinned as he cupped her cheek and kissed her softy on the lips. He pulled away before she could respond and smirked. Marinette was a bright red. “You..you…kissed…” Adrien chuckled. “I saw the opportunity and I took it.” he said softly, playing with one of her pigtails, repeating the same words she had said to him moments before.

“That’s…not…fair.” she mumbled as he held her. “Would you’ve stopped me?” he teased ,a little Chat Noir slipping into his voice. Marinette bit her lip and stood on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear.

“I never would’ve stopped you, kitty. Now help me pack this cake into a box and deliver it to the birthday girl.”

(NO SPOILERS) I´m not ashamed to say that I watched ML origins and it was all my hearts ever wants. This pic was meant to be something smaller and had turn into this beautifull night skyline where I pour all my heart. I just did the final details this evening and I´m gonna uploaded it also in my Devianart (nakar27) so you can download it at full resolution and use it as a wallpaper if you want ;)

Esta ilustracion se suponia que iba a ser algo mas sencillo y ha acabado convirtiendose en este hermoso cielo nocturno donde he vertido todo mi corazón.
