Star watched happily as the purified butterfly flew away, pleased that her job was done and over with for the day. “Bye bye, little butterfly!”

“Ladybug, would you please try not to be so reckless!” Chat Noir pleaded from behind her. “You’re the one that has to stay safe! I can’t purify butterflies like you do.”

She turns around, face expression apologetic. “Aw, Chat, but it isn’t reckless, it’s fun!” At her mansion, she’s not even aloud to laugh, let alone have this much enjoyment. The black suited male groans.

“You can have fun and be safe!” He cries, before deciding to drop to his knees and put his head in his hands. “You nearly gave me a heart attack, my lady….”

Star sits down next to him. “I’m sorry, Chat. It’s just…okay, don’t tell anyone, but I don’t get much of this when I’m normal. You know, me without the suit. Civilian life.”

His face morphs into that of understanding, and he finds himself scratching his neck in embarassment. “O-oh. Well, just… don’t purposely put yourself in danger, okay? I don’t want my best friend getting hurt.”

“Awwwww, I’m your best friend? That’s so sweet!” She pulls him into a hug, and ignores the beeping of her earrings and his ring without a care in the world.

Marco blushes at her touch before wrapping his arms around her back, and decides that since she deserves to have fun, he should be the one to make sure she’s safe.

(im on a roll today with all these binge written fics) also i do not own miraculous ladybug and star vs the forces of evil. not one bit.
