For the akumatized villain ranking thing, rank: The Puppeteer

The puppeteer

real name: Manon

image

Powers(Their distinct ability):

The ability to take control of anyone so long as she has a doll of them to control.

Potentially, Manon could be the most powerful of all the akumatized villains, (if she has a doll of each one that is) meaning that their powers are her powers. but without the dolls, she isn’t that powerful. So giving her a ranking on power is hard to grasp. But she can also control ladybug and chat noir, as long as their is a doll of them (marinette can’t be the only one making dolls.) So I would give manon a solid

(3/5)

intelligence:

While she is smart enough to coordinate the villains she controls, she is not smart enough to know how to use them efficiently, (which was why Ladybug was able to easily overtake 5 villains at once.) She is too brash to really consider the possibilities.

Like, she could have threatened to have made the akuma’s drown in a river, unless ladybug gave up her miraculous. Or had chat use cataclysm on himself.

But then again she is a kid, so her thinking of murder would be really messed up.

but she could of had them go on a rampage to distract ladybug.

2.5/5

Competence (how close they were to getting the miraculous):

3/5

(See reasons above for intelligence.) but I gave her points for technically capturing chat noir. But Ladybug had her pegged pretty well/

threat level:

5/5

If her full potential was realized, she could have terrorized the whole city with ease! nothing would be able to stop her.

(level 1 is inconvenience, level 5 is threat to the entire city)

physical strength

Speed:

both her strength and speed are unknown, but assumed to be faster then normal people, plus, she can fly, so that is a good thing for speed.

place I rank them:

20/26

It is not that I do not like Manon or puppeteer, it is just, she isn’t that memorable of a villain. She was using other villains (like lady wifi and evillustrator) that were more well known and much cooler. Her akumatization appearance was very meh, and her objective while amusing was very dull

One thing that keeps striking me as the series continues is the way Steven and Rose serve as foils for one another. It’s easy to see how similar they are and yet the most beautiful part of Steven– the way he is capable of intuitively picking up on emotions, his consideration for others and how gently he treats others’ feelings– is what is sorely lacking in his ethereal mother.

What a contrast. Rose attempts to understand Greg’s emotions, Steven picks up on others’ feelings right away, be they gem or human. In his short life, Steven has already reached a depth of emotional maturity that was closed off to Rose for the millenniums she existed.

As willing as she was to try, even Rose knew she’d never experience true love the way a human being could– and that’s why she gave up her physical form. This precious cinnamon roll bridges the gems to the human condition and helps them find the humanity in themselves. Steven is the embodiment of humanity’s beauty– vulnerable, gentle, complex in simplicity, and more capable of love than any other species.
