If you're bored at all and feel like drawing, can you draw more Chat Noir Mermaids? I love the AU. What do you think their civilian forms would be?
Oh yes, I’ll definitely draw more for this AU! I have so many ideas and headcanons, here’s a little list:
- Ladybug and Chat Noir are their original forms, but when they stay out of the water for more than 5 minutes they transform into humans, Marinette and Adrien (this applies to all the mermaids).
- This way, the love square remains pretty much the same: Ladybug falls in love with Chat’s human form, and Chat falls in love with Ladybug’s mermaid form.
IMAGINE MARICHAT AND LADRIEN- They can stay in their human form as much as they want, but they’ll transform back as soon as they touch the water.
- The other characters are basically the same, just moved near the sea and adapted to that environment (for example, Chloe lives in a luxurious yacht, and she’s a huge mermaids fan)
- Hawkmoth exists in this universe, too, and he’s similar to an Ursula. He wants Ladybug and Chat Noir’s magical fishes friends, the kwami: Tikki (who can create anything) and Plagg (who can destroy anything), because with them he’d be invincible.
- His kwami, Nooroo, has the power to transform humans into mermaids (and Master Fu’s kwami, Wayzz, has the power to heal other kwami, and mermaids to a degree).
- In order to have Tikki and Plagg, Hawkmoth talks with the humans who are attracted by the sea and offers them to become special mermaids with magical power, and in exchange they’ll have to take him the kwami. To seal the magic, they have to offer their most precious object.
- Akuma are little energy fishes that enter the objects.
- Ladybug and Chat Noir don’t transform, but they fight side by side with their kwami who give them powers.
In the end this wasn’t really a little list oops but I have so many ideas, I hope to be able to draw more soon!!
