Here’s a direct link(half-sized).

Well, this to date is now my largest piece ever made, in terms of resolution. Also the most hours spent on. I’ve always wanted to try making something huge just for print sake and to see how my computer would handle it. Safe to say that my computer is now wheezing away. Raven is best teen titan girl, next to Blackfire of course. Also new Raven in the Justice League vs Teen Titans movie is great would recommend a watch!

If you guys are interested in having a print of this, do tell me or reblog this. The resolution of this lets me go up to poster sized!

You can see me rant about this and look at the WIPs here: https://twitter.com/QT0ri

P.S. there’s a secret raven hidden in there, see if you can find it :3

It's sad how quickly Sokka will get thrown under a bus by people. His views on what a woman does was brought partly on by tribal traditions and through out the series his views opened up and got better. At the north pole, when he was interested in Yue, if that mattered to him more then what his sister was going through. He would have interfered with her fight with Pakku. But he didn't, he let her do what she needed to do. Siblings fight but Katara and Sokka never let it tear them apart.

To get thrown under the bus for a ship, of all things…oh, the indignity!

Sokka was called out on his sexism either by the narrative or by a character every single time. It’s one of the reasons why he has so much growth, in comparison to other characters who always get rewarded by the narrative for sticking to their traditions and therefore never have to rethink their beliefs.

Coming from someone who is close to their only sibling, I’ll also add that Katara and Sokka’s banter, even if it might seem mean on its face, is actually a great support system in itself. Teasing and making jibes at each other like Katara and Sokka do is something that only happens if you completely trust and love the other person, and its very constancy is a comfort in times of trouble. For example, on the Day of Black Sun:

Katara: I still think you’re crazy, but I’m proud of you, too.

I’ve seen people take the opposite track, and say that Katara is the one who doesn’t support Sokka, because she really says some hurtful things to him over the course of the series. But for every time she screams at him, there have been a hundred days she’s washed his dirty socks. For every time she derides his instincts, there are a hundred times she’s made him food.  Just like for every time he makes a disparaging remark about girls, there have been a hundred times Sokka has held Katara, stood up for Katara, and comforted Katara. Mocking the idea that Sokka is Katara’s rock is indefensible.

Sokka, getting the damn boat because his sister needs him and that kid won’t save himself.
