To apply, complete the form here. This is a project just getting off of its feet, so please bear with me!
You must be comfortable with adhering to these guidelines:
- THIS IS A NONPROFIT ZINE AIMING TO RAISE MONEY TO HELP WITH THE WILDFIRES SPREADING ACROSS CANADA AND CAUSING A NATIONAL CRISIS, with plans to donate proceeds to the Canadian Red Cross. Paying the artists will be attempted but is not ensured! This is a charity work.
- This is a themed zine! In an attempt to adhere to a single theme with appeal and coordination, THIS ZINE FOCUSES ON MIRACULOUS LADYBUG: TALES OF LADYBUG & CAT NOIR, and as such, the art will reflect the characters! For those looking for a little more detail, feel free to send an ask.
- YOUR ARTWORK/TALENT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE EXTRAORDINARY. However, at the same time we ask that you can bring a unique, well developed style to the table that will look professional and complete amongst the others once the zine is published.
- While it isn’t necessary, IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF THE ART YOU SUBMIT TO THE ZINE IS KEPT SOLELY FOR THE ZINE’S USE. You can certainly post it and sell it yourself, but it would be greatly valued if the artwork was kept zine-exclusive. But that’s your decision, not ours!
- ANY ART YOU MAKE FOR THE ZINE MUST BE MADE WITH FULL INTENT OF IT BEING SUBMITTED TO, PUBLISHED IN, AND USED BY THE ZINE. While we won’t claim ownership of your work, we want this to be specially made so we can deliver a unique product that has value in order to raise money. We will not accept art made prior to your application, art that was commissioned, or art otherwise not solely for the zine.
While this project is just a baby, all comments/questions/concerns are open for sending at the ask box, and I’ll be happy to answer them all as soon as I can.
