I got very excited by the idea of Allura in Earth fashion. So have some quick Allura doodles from my sketchbook. EXCUSE ME WHILE I SOB OVER THE 7 SPACE CHILDREN I’ve recently adopted and their 5 ROBOTICS CATS.
“I feel like the miraculous fandom is super exclusive like all the big blogs are nice from afar but won’t let you join their clique.”
Jeeze, do people really think this? Id like to think im excluded but thats probably naive
Not much i can do though
I dunno… I think that’s really unfair to think of them. They can’t talk to everyone and even if they could it’s not like they’ll click with every single person they talk to.
^This. It’s not like all the “””””popular””””” blogs have a meeting where they’re all like “okay let’s form a totally exclusive clique that no one else can join.” People click with different people online and form friendships because of that and not out of any desire to be exclusive.
I was accused of cliquishness in a Pokemon RP group a few years back because me and my friend group were perceived as the “’’’’popular’’’’’ blogs. People thought we were grouping up to be exclusionary but the reality was my friend group had more in common than just Pokemon. We played other video games together, talked about the shows we liked to watch, vented about work stuff.
We weren’t a clique; we were a friend group. That RP group has long since sunk into the sands of time and I’m still friends with a good number of them. I knew other people through that group who I liked and enjoyed RPing with but our shared interests kind of began and ended with Pokemon so we didn’t click as friends.
People forget that behind “”””””big fandom names””””””” are people with jobs and lives and interests that deviate from Miraculous Ladybug. You’re not going to be equal friends with everyone and the fact of the matter is that you don’t have to be. The question is, if you feel like this fandom is cliquish, do you want to actually be friends with the people in the “clique” or do you just want to be associated with people because you and others perceive them as popular?
Ooh.. now I understood. Some people asked to me something about this topic, time ago. I was trying to understand what they meant with “Cliques”, now I get it.
I agree with what you wrote, guys.
I mean, it’s sad someone feels kicked out someway, but you don’t have to forget that we are all people and if someone we admire has friends in the fandom, is perfectly normal for them to interact with them more than others.
Now, talking about me,( because of that one who asked me the question about Cliques) for example I found a group of friends in the fandom; not everybody is an artist, some are Artists, some writers, some cosplayers, some just intrested in the show. I talk with them sometimes, when the routine permits me to do so. I have conversation with them in real life, in other socials, but also in the chat here, it’s normal. I’m sure everybody can potentially find a friend in the fandom, find nice people and interact with them. Don’t really matter if artist or just fan of the show. The point is to enjoy a show together and chat, have fun.
That’s it.
A quickie for Thomas’ Challenge on Twitter! If enough Miraculers change their profile to sport France’s colors and use the hashtags for the European Final’s tomorrow he will give us a season 2 spoiler :) Did this image a support, huzzah!
