As I’m rereading the manga, I’m really noticing how much detail and care Komi has put into the story. In the current story, Raku is chasing after Chitoge to tell her how he really feels about her. Chitoge is trying to run from his life forever, in order (she thinks) to make Raku happy with Onodera. While Shuu’s story is slightly different, this chapter directly correlates. Kyoko was leaving forever and he had to tell her how he feels, just like Raku is doing. But Chitoge still loves Raku, so deeply she has let him go TWICE in order to make him happy. This is where the story differs… I love these small details. You go, Komi.
