Hunk is a horseshoe crab, big and friendly. (I know they’re not actual crabs but i dont care) Sometimes horseshoe crabs get stuck on their backs on the beach and people have to turn them over. They’re cute and I want to hug them.
Pidge is a hermit crab. These cute lil crustaceans carry their homes on their backs (though change them once they get too big!) They withdraw inside their shells when threatened. They’re smart and small and adorable!
Shiro is a king crab! These babies live mostly in cold seas, and are prized for their legs (king crabs are the most commonly eaten crabs… which is sad im sorry crabs). They’re noble and delicious.
Lance is a fiddler crab. Fiddlers are rather unique, with one large claw that’s used to fight and show off for mates. They can also be quick to start a fight with their rival crabs! ;) They are flirtatious and unique!
Keith is a european green crab. These small, yet aggressive, crabs live on rocky shores and intertidal areas, and contrary to the name, they aren’t always green, and they have 5 spines on their shells! They are impulsive and live in harsh areas!
