When I read “Finally! Chat Noir will save the day for once”, I feel like we are not watching the same show.

First, the Weredad episode isn’t out and you are currently building your expectations so instead of watching an episode for what it actually is, you will watch an episode for what YOU THINK will be. Don’t be surprised if you end up disappointed (and that comes from someone who watches spoilers and likes theorizing and speculating).

And second, have you forgotten episodes such as Anansi where Chat Noir prioritizes saving the people trapped in the ferris wheel when they are in danger over defeating the supervillain?

Have you forgotten episodes such as Befana where Chat saves Ladybug from the supervillain without knowing it and allow her to transform?

Have you forgotten episodes such as Gigantitan where Chat Noir keeps the situation under control and is the most effective in his approach?

Have you forgotten the episode Sandboy where Ladybug’s nightmare of losing her powers becomes real and Chat Noir has to protect her and carries her around so she doesn’t get hurt or lose her Miraculous?

Have you forgotten the episode Syren where Ladybug is as hurt as Chat Noir to keep secrets from her partner and friend and the reason behind the whole situation is not because she doesn’t want to inform him but because she cannot tell him due to her obligations to Master Fu?

Have you forgotten episodes such as Riposte, Gorizilla and freaking Style Queen where Chat Noir is unable to be there and Ladybug has such a hard time dealing with a supervillain that she cannot defeat them on her own?

When I read you write “Finally, CN will save the day” it is as if you are saying “Chat will be strongest or the most useful”. If you weren’t aware, the secret behind Ladybug and Chat Noir’s team is that they rely on each other and depend on each other’s support to defeat the supervillain. That is what teamwork is about. Even when Chat Noir is brainwashed by the supervillain, he can still be part of the plan or assist LB in some way at some point if he didn’t already did.

So, keep in mind that when one of them isn’t there, the other struggles or at least cannot do everything alone by themselves.

honestly, with the government being shut down (again) it makes me think of what my dad once told me

as a non-government worker, when the government was shut down for 11 days, did anything change? no. people just kept on doing what they were doing.
