from yesterday. A little something I cooked up show gratitude to everyone who
liked and shared my Voltron inspired K-SQUAD squigglustration: KWAMIS, COMBINE!
Thanks to you guys, that piece received the highest note count that I’ve ever
received for any artwork I’ve posted here on Tumblr. That is a huge deal for me
because that piece was one of my favourites for the year and I seriously was
not expecting such a high number. When I first thought of the idea for this
piece, it was one of those ideas that I really hoped others would get a kick
out of too because it was intended to be something funny and cute that
hopefully a lot of peeps would like. So to see it get such a great reception
(the highest for me on here ever), it makes me feel really, really happy!
And I’m also happy from the comments that peeps were amused by Nooroo’s
expression in the piece as well. I’m glad you found it funny cause it gave me a
laugh too while illustrating it XD
So I drew this as a means of not only celebrating that but also to once again, say thank you to my star kids for your continuous love and support; not just for KWAMIS COMBINE but in general for all my squiggs. Thank you guys soo much! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
At
first I was only going to feature the original six kwamis that we all know of (y’know
Plagg, Tikki, Wayzz, Noroo and of course the bee and peacock
kwamis who I dubbed Hunni and Bloo until their real names are
confirmed). But then yesterday morning, in a surprising twist of events…after
WEEKS of waiting, the fox kwami was finally revealed via Twitter. And boy was
she more adorable than I expected her to be! Exactly the image of hyperactive
mischief and fun that I dreamed she would be.
So naturally, I just HAD to add her in. Additionally, by popular vote on
Twitter, I’ve decided to call the fox kwami Vixii (playing on the word ‘vixen’ which is a female fox) until her
real name is confirmed by Hawkdaddy and co.
That being said, at long last, the K-SQUAD is officially complete! Here’s to
more future kwami squiggles with the whole team! Woot! Woot!
