I drew the hot one as a joke and then I remembered I love designing alien species,
I’ve been seeing people make their own Voltron alien OCs and I really like the style/aesthetic of Voltron aliens so, I made my own! Check out these sweet Seaweed Aliens
They’re called Nudali, and they vary heavily based on what body of water they live in. While most of the planet is highly socially advanced, they have very little in the ways of technology, because no Nudali is truly curious beyond the most basic of ‘hey, what’s that noise’. They are not a species that strives for betterment. They are too chill for betterment.
Gerno
Name meaning: tree roots
Species: Swamp Nudali (greenish in colour, combs on arms instead of fins, spends most of their time out of the water; makes dams like beavers)
Planet: Av Haigol (translates literally to ‘Spread-out All-sea’, basically means ‘all the seas that cover the world’)
Bio: Practical, take-it-as-it-comes, and laid back. Likes to share. Not really friendly, but it takes an absurd amount of effort to get him to actively dislike you. Will strike up conversations with perfect strangers on a whim. Does not care about literally anything. No one has ever seen him angry. If you destroyed something important to him he’d probably just be depressed, but it would be a fantastic feat just to find anything actually important to him. Despite how airy-fairy he acts, he’s ruthlessly efficient.
Haia
Name meaning: Jewel without facet/round, translucent jewel (like an agate)
Species: Lake Nudali (teal in colour, fins on arms, lives in shallow waters, settles in underwater tunnels, communities tend to be socially isolated)
Planet: Av Haigol
Bio: Absolutely full goddamn aggro. Xenophobic, everything is a threat, violence is always the answer. Thinks thunder is the heavens personally punishing him. Tends to hit the water under literally any sort of stress. Can and will crawl into a sink when pressed. Likes to climb and slip around things like ventilation systems, thanks to his tunnel-based home. Hyper-vigilant to absurd extremes. Nothing happened to him to make him this way. He just exists in a perpetual state of Terrified And Homicidal. When he’s in familiar, safe spaces, he’s just a bit hypermobile and a little quick to talk.
