i just want adrien to have proper development, i understand the story is centered on marinette but I’m getting kind of frustrated with Adrien’s whole passive attitude and taking the high rode personality.

i want him to learn how to stand up to himself. i want him up stop letting his dad control his life and to fight back.

i want him to make mistakes and learn from them.

Bonus: 

Adrien has been known to sulk or be passive aggressive because he has just one shitty father while Marinette has amazing parents, a grandmother who is now visiting, Gabriel and Nathalie are 100% willing to adopt her, and Jagged and Penny would step up as aunt/uncle in a heartbeat if not parents. True the Dupain-Cheng’s may act like parents to Adrien and support him occasionally but they are on the ‘he already has parents’ side of the argument, unlike Gabriel and Nathalie who would kill the Dupain-Chengs if they ever upset Marinette so they could adopt her. Gabriel and Nathalie will push for Adrienette to happen just so they can have Marinette as a daughter and part of their family officially. 

Dupain-Cheng’s aren’t as obsessed and just want Marinette to be happy….with Chat Noir.
